you can build one of these.
an inmate at foolsom built this out of toothpicks. about 250000 of em. He built a small theme park. including a merry-go-round and a roller coaster. but they couldnt be moved so they were destroyed. i believe the guy was there 35 years, so he had to find something to do. this thing stands like 7.5 feet tall. and at one time actually operated

That is amazing. Could be a metaphor for all of life.
It is an amazing site. I think I would have lost interest in the project after about 3 hours, let alone 35 years. People are truly interesting, aren't they?
Everyone has a skill or gift. I guess people are just shown it in different places. I wonder if this person had made differnt choices we may driving across a new Golden Gate Bridge.

Too bad that it had to be destroyed. If it had been built in such a way as it could have been moved to a museum he could have given back even more.
This title should have been if you have HARD time!
I saw this and Folsom is a wonderful location, and Chuck and I did spend time at so many places, Folsum sure changed from the first time I was there years ago, and all that has built up around the area.
