1/2 happy 1/2 sad

I am sitting on top of a beautiful hill at 9:30 at night freezing my tutu off! I am so excited because tonight was the end of another class and after the next Saturday class I will be 1/3 of the way through my college. I am waiting for Teisha to get out of class and then we can go home to a nice warm bed. Both of us usually get out at 10:30 but since this was my last class we had projects and finished early. Wahoo!

Parts of me are happy but then I think of Chuck and I am sad. I hate the idea of him going through this. He has been in his house for a good ten years hasn't he? Jim, you and Sandi are great to be there for him. The fact that he called shows that he knows that you two are there for him and he can count on you. Please keep us up on any news.

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing most of you at Suzanne's wedding. I am also looking forward to blogging more, talking about Global Warming and the Pacific Ocean Garbage Island and Big Foot and crazy people that hike along a mountain walk that could kill ya.

Hey Jim, are you going to dance with your wife at your sister's wedding? How about the Swim or the Frug or the Bunny Hop? You don't have to break dance or anything. You didn't dance with her once at your son's wedding. Hey, and speaking of weddings what is the news from Randy and Claudia...when will they get married?

Dick, are you going to dance with me at Suzanne's wedding? You can teach Jim a few moves! Ok - Ben, Illa you guys have to get Peter and Karen to Polka. Yep, this is going to be a great wedding. Start watching "Dancing With the Stars" and I will make sure to bring those footsteps we can glue on the floor.

OK =you all take care - more later Gi

The latest on Chuck.

He called this afternoon about 4:30. He was calling from a pay phone even though he had received the phone card and debit card I sent him. He said that his house has been in foreclosure since April 9. I don’t know if he has a 60 or 90 day foreclosure process. He kind of eluded my question, so I’m still not sure how much longer he has in his place. He did say that he was just contacted today from I think was a capital investment company that was offering him a ‘short sale.’ Evidently this is a situation where a capital investment company buys distressed properties from mortgage holders that have no other options. The usual practice is to offer the owner just enough to pay off the amount for what is owed to the bank with really nothing left for any equity that they may have in the house. The only ‘advantage’ is that the foreclosure is not noted on a person’s credit rating.

Just after Chuck called I received a call from a bank that had loaned us the money for my LASIK surgery two years ago. So, while I was not interested in any refinancing offers that they were calling about I was able to ask them so very poignant questions about Chuck’s situation.

He did affirm that he knows he does have options, but I’m not sure what he’s going to do. I don’t think he knows yet. I told him about the offers of the trailers by Peter and Karen, and Ben and Illa. I don’t know what he’s going to do about a mailing address if he loses the house.

I guess it’s a wait and see.

medical update

Seems the doc is trying to figure out what is up with me ?!! I have gained weight, now at 185 lbs which he didn't except. Since I am not in pain and my weight is good, he took me off all meds for a while to see how I do. I still take the pain pills for when I over do work outside, but that is not a cancer pain as much as conditioning and the scar from the surgery. I still have the cancer but the doc says I am too mean and don't let it win ! lol It is nice to be off the cancer pills for a change. Maybe clean the chemicals out and get the feelings back in my feet instead of it always feeling like tingling all the time !! Illa and I are putting up fences around the yard getting ready for Teresa and the grandkids to visit for a month or so. bg

Justin's Prom From Lueria

Him and Bethoney had a blast. They are going on 1 year and 1/2.  He is a Junior with 3 credits to go.

Justin's Prom

We received a call from Chuck last night.

Last night, Friday, we received a call from Chuck. He sounded somewhat calm, somber and demure. First, he asked if our little apartment was available, so, that told me that something was up. He said that his home is going through foreclosure. I know that he's been having a stressful time since he got booted from the CDC about two years ago for being a 'whistle blower.' He hasn't really told me what, if any, retirement he ended up with. I get the impression, not much. I think he's run out of options with his house payments.
He was calling from a pay phone so he couldn't talk very long. So, he probably doesn't have internet either anymore. Below is a letter I sent to him this morning.

His address if you want to contact him:
Chuck Hooper
(email or call me)

May 3, 2008
Dear Chuck,
It was good to hear from you, but the news wasn’t happy. Anyway, thanks for calling.
When we talked it sounded like you weren’t sure about how much longer you had in the house. Of course, if it’s as little as two weeks, we have to do something fast. What, if any, choices do you have from the bank?

First, you have options; we’ve been thinking of buying some sort of travel trailer or small RV, so this may be the time for us to do that. We would offer you to live at our little apartment but a woman that did her student teaching with Sandi last year hasn’t landed a job yet and is staying in it for awhile. She may be leaving in a month or two, so that’s still an option. Second, have you contacted George about the ranch in Redding? The last I heard, Charlie is in Salem and George is living in town. Third, we could loan you some money to make a payment if you see your way in the future where it could help you hold on to the house, and not just put off foreclosure one more month.

Whatever you decide to do, know that we're here to help and will come down and help you move if it comes to that. We can rent a U-Haul and store it up here.

Call anytime, and especially after you get this. Let us know what we can do.
Love, Jim

He is settlin in

I let george out for a little while yesterday, watched him the whole time to see where he would go. everytime he would hear a car go by he would make a mad dash back inside:) when i left for a couple hours i left him in, and then let him back out for a couple hours at 2:30 this morning. he was crying and driving me nuttier. he was out for about 3 hours and came right back in. i will leave the front door open so that he can come in and out as he wills while im home.
I know this topic is pointless, but so is my life. so there ya go.

Dogs are great, but can they do this to their little sister

No, we don't have any grandkids either.
Jim

Hes not real crazy being in the apartment all day. I might let him out in the next couple days. Hopefully he will know where home is.

Some will provide fresh barbecue for the reunion!

Again. Talking points.

We have a saying around our house, "No news is good news." I take the lack of posting as a good sign.

Things have been pretty slow for me too other than the fact its been REALLY hot around here. Peter didn't show up to stack my wood and, well, it's still waiting. Remember, I can 'legally' be lazy since I found out I have a hernia. I can't do anything real heavy until I recoup. Of course, I'm not getting it dealt with until the 1st of June, so, Peter still has time to 'redeem' himself in my eyes.

I had a Release Day on Wednesday to go visit other schools with a beginning teacher and it still seems like a long week.

Let's just say I'm recycling a post that had interest in the past.

In the interest of learning more about each other, and who we all are, I’d like to suggest a number of varied topics to comment about. This should help define how each of us feel about a specific topic as well as help us to recognize what we have in common.

Let’s vote on a topic and then I’ll introduce a question to further explore that topic.

Ground rules: Openness to others opinions, non-personal discreditations of those views different than your own, a learning experience for all.
Let’s vote:
1. Global warming
2. Purpose of life
3. What makes a happy person
4. What you’d do different next time
5. Price of fuel and how it affects you
6. Who or what is ‘God’ to you?
7. Recent new story: i.e. "Bitten while on toilet, woman drowns rat"
8. ?????

The order has no preference.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of topics, but rather a starting point. You can be “deep as a saucer” or “sharp as a tack.”

Nevada Area

In case you haven't heard, Nevada had over 100 earthquakes yesterday, with over 50 aftershocks so far today. They had been two over 4.0 yesterday at a low depth. Interesting to hear the news from there in the Reno area and around the areas north and south. Nothing felt here. (just put this in because the blog has been quiet lately)  bg

Rogue River Reservations

Ok!  Ben and I have reservations at Rogue River State Park.  We got sites F-21 and F-23.  We got them for 4 nights, July 18th thru 21st leaving on 22 AM.  The cost was $172 for the four nights and includes the $6 reservation fee per site.  They know that we are having a reunion so when you call to make reservations, let them know that this is for the Garcia /Rouzaud reunion and you want sites around F-21 and F-23.  All sites in F Loop are electric and have water.  The Yurts are all gone.  You have to park on the pavement in the sites.  Each site also has a 15 X 15 area for a tent.  There is a limit of 8 people per site.  If you have an extra vehicle it is $5 extra.  That does not mean that they are going to charge another fee for a truck and trailer.  So the time and place are set.  This will not put an additional strain on Karen to take care of everyone even tho that would be an excellent place, but I know she would over tax herself and she should be able to enjoy everyone.  Everyone needs to reserve in the next several days if they are going as I told the lady that those that are coming would make their own reservations.  So there you go!   Click on the title to get the the website.  the reservation phone number is 1 -800-452-5687. No Dick, you can't vote twice!
PS Old people will park by the house, 2nd and 3rd gens, in the orchard.

Reunion Weekend

I can be totally flexible with wherever you guys want to go, however, for the next two summers I am commited to school. Unless there is some major project due I should be able to schedule studies around that weekend. Unfortunately I won't know until I receive the syllabus for my summer class which starts sometime in the middle of June. You guys make plans and I will go with the flow as long as there is a hotel not to far away. Love you all - Gi

family reunion changes........

Well I put in our vacation for the boys to be at the family reunion on the dates we all chose last year.  In the court order we need to know the dates by April 1st or we forfite our 2 week time.  I can't change our dates for Max and Christian now. This is our only vacation for the summer. Justin and Bethony gave up invitations to work at a clinic to go to this. And McKenzie gave up camp during that week to go to the vacation. All the camp spaces are full now and she can't get in.   I understand stuff comes up but we can not attend any other weekend. Sorry I will miss you all. Justin, Max, and Christian are bummed.

Love you, and we did cancel our time at the lake. I understand Ben has court and it can not be moved and Aunt Suzie is getting married. But I and Whitney have sports for 4 kids, and work. It sucks but we need time to plan dates. I hope you understand our side. love ya

From Lueria

Family Reunion Thoughts & Opinion

Hi Guys - just a note so we can get a few opinions here. My main concern with changing the date for the family reunion is for our younger generation and the many family commitments they have. It is very hard these days to plan vacations for families with children and work considerations. I know that it is hard to get everyone to agree on a specific date, but that is the main reason we need to make a date and then keep it. That way people have a whole year to decide how they want to prioritize their time for one weekend out of 52.

If we keep our date consistent each year we will get better and better at our attendance and how well we can enjoy each other in a very short time frame. This year I thought it would be great to plan some evening activities (perhaps some talent show thing each age group could take part in) for the younger kids. That way we have something to get them excited about and hopefully make it a little easier to get to know them. Now the Lake of the Woods does have a variety of offerings, such as cabins, tent spaces, RV spaces etc, but we have to book early, hence the "pressure" to make some decisions a long time in advance. To me the place isn't as important as making sure we find something that can meet all our needs. If there is a cheaper offering - let's here about them!!

Well, let me know what thoughts are out there - I love you all and enjoy hearing what is going on in your lives through the blog - Love, Glenda

Enjoying the day

The day started out with me taking Ohmah to a dog obedience class. Andrew and Rachael took Gunner too. After the class we went to the beach and walked on it for awhile. The tide was a long way out, so it was even neater than usual. It was a really nice day with absolutely no wind and warm. Today was probably our summer. After all the exercise, Ohmah and I had to go home and take a nap on the deck...after I had mowed the yard. Randy and Claudia came over and we played bocce ball in the front yard.
Carpe weekend,

Since no feet have been posted

I thought i would.
Dick

Wow! (as our cat would say) these five day weeks are long!!!!!

This week was a looonnnnnnggggggg week. Maybe it was because of the shortened days of the previous week, a conference week. I could get used to the kids going home at 1:00 every day! I think my 'gizzard' may start acting up as it gets closer to the end of the school year, maybe (wait a minute, I have to look at the weather forecast) as early as next week. Come on, it has to be sommmmmmmmmmee kind of holiday. Isn't the international recognition of the discovery of Antarctica coming up? How about when the last passenger pigeon, Martha, died? Shouldn't there be an annual day of mourning for a species going extinct? Especially, if we were the cause of it? I know, isn't it like 'grandparents day?' I guess I have to go down to Wal-Mart to see what greeting cards they are trying to push.
Go ahead, tell me a story..........

Olympic torch Extinguished

So much for GREEN PEACE !!  What a shame to have this happen. The uniting for nations for at least a little space of time snuffed out again. France and Green Peace are both of the same caliber, duds !!  If this action was allowed by green peace, they should hide in shame !! As usual, a few JERKS mess it up so others can't enjoy what they should have been able to. It is PASSED time people should stand up and stand for what they believe is their right too. I will never vote for anyone connected with green peace again. I had thought some points they brought up valid, and still do, but as long as they sanction what these nuts did, I will never support them. As the war in Nam, there are several sides and you can find good and bad in each. It is how it is presented that will add or delete support.       green peace ??!! NO WAY !!!! bg

uhhhh...I'm stuck!!!!!!!!!!!

returned from Reno

First off, Illa went and interview, I stayed in line for around 5 hours but left. Illa stayed in for it but said it was a young kid that did about a 15 second interview was all. They started yelling and wanting you to act like a fool the closer you got to the table for the interview and I just got fed up with it. I am not the outgoing type and refuse to act different than I am. Good spaghetti where we stayed(the Nugget). Yes, I ate too much, yes, I paid in pain the next night but I did stay out of the hospital !
We got in about 5 other draws for quick cash but never got picked. It was nice to stay a couple nights on the 22 floor facing west towards the hills of Virginia City. Never made it there because of the pains. It can happen the next time we go ! Great thing about it is is only 3 hours drive from here. Seems like we forget and wait several years but we a going to try and go on May 17th for another draw. Illa did win one thing that said she will get double what she wins when we go in May.
As for where Lisi is...... now I am TOTALLY CONFUSED !! Before we left, Lili gave me the address in Vancouver but when I booted the computer up just now it says she is about 15 Miles from Lueria ??!!!! Maybe someone (Peter) , can find out what the heck is going on !!

Affordable electric car!!!

Yep, the latest in free transportation! Solar powered! Trike, none-the-less! Open air seating configuration with a spoiler-styled solar panel making you stick to the road combined with the ultimate in cornering. The latest in 290 air conditioning (open both windows and go 90 mph). I'll even finance it for you Dick, if you're really interested. So, don't think 'years' but minutes! Too bad it's not red!! I'll look into getting a paint job for it. Maybe mauve, or fuchsia...

So, Ben, when 'ya going to be over. The car and the wood are both waiting.

Welcome to my new ride!!! Vrooom, vroom...

No, it's not electric, but it sure packs a charge. I couldn't resist. Maybe I am going through some kind of mid-life crisis. It's my dream car, but I had to trade in the ZAP for part of the cost. 327 ci. 4 speed. Only 40,108 miles. Cool runnings just got HOT! It was a great deal and I couldn't resist. My carbon footprint just grew to Bigfoot size. The bad side: 12 mpg. I parked it on a area of the lawn that needed the water to wash it.

Summer time road trip (short) here we come!

Great day!!!!!!

Click on the link if you get bored. We went to a place called Lyons Ranch looking for early spring flowers. The views were there, but too early for the flowers.

Mission fulfilled.

Click on the above link to read the story.
When I was going to school at College of the Redwoods in about 1984 I was fortunate enough to go to a presentation by Dith Pran, the subject of the movie, "The Killings Fields." It was a very powerful and moving talk by a very humble and contrite man that lived through a period of hell on Earth. He must have fulfilled his mission here. He just died.

Results of State Lawsuit is in

Well, it was NOT good for us. We lost. We really expected to but the reasons are so frustrating.
The court lawyer said it was because we failed to follow and submit our arguments had not followed the process as it needed to in a court form. Not that we didn't have just reasons. I even tried to submit an article about how a city board in the city of Sebastopol here Calif. had refused to allow wi fi in the city limits because there are to many unanswered questions on the safety of the micro waves. The judge said it was submitted at the wrong time.
Even the facts that they (the defense) had failed to provide the mandatory federal requirements for safety had not been followed was not allowed. It is a federal requirement to post caution signs, fences around the area and monitoring devices to all who enter the area. Defense said there was no proof "during the time there" that the allowed signal strength was excessive. How can there be proof "during the time" when they failed to provide the monitors that would have show any breaches?!!
So, now, because we lost, there is now a $20,000.00 court cost against the Garcia family. Even the cost of the "medical" bill was not allowed to be argued. They charged me alone around $9,000.00 for a half hour exam that was only asking me questions and no tests what so ever.
While I feel we had been "rail roaded", I see not chance to get justice since we cannot find a lawyer to help us fight against the state. All the lawyers we talked to say this is just to new of a field and there is only speculation on both sides of the arguments to say if it is dangerous or not. This I fail to understand since to me the issue is they failed to follow SAFETY LAWS ?!! BG

Visitors

It has been a great time here even with having to go to court and find out we lost this phase in court. The kids came over Sunday with the grand kids and B. J. left yesterday and Teresa and her kids left today. Tuesday we had the egg hunt and Athena found the most. Merlin found quite a few but was more interested in just running around on the lawn and finding all the things he wanted to see instead of eggs. It is so neat to watch as observe the stages of children growing up. Today it snowed a little bit here so all we did after the kids left was watch the snow, rain and wind in the trees. I have been watching a limb on one tree for close to three years now that I would have bet would have finally been broken all the way off, yet it defies all logic and hands on still. It just goes back and forth yet won't fall. I think it is waiting for me to be under it before it falls.
Deal or no Deal is going to be in Reno the first of April and Illa and I are going to try to apply and get on. The paper work has been completed and now it is a matter of getting in line and hoping to be auditioned. We shall see. If nothing else, a good enough reason just to get out of Big Valley for a day or two and see the "Big city Lights" lol    BG

That is from lueria below.......lol. forget to say who I am.

Who are you voting for..........

I like Ron Paul, but I don't think he will will. So it will be down to Obamah ,Hillary, or McCain.
McCain is not getting it. And since I'm Republican the last few years. I'm still excited for  a change. Well Justin says he is voting Obamah. Sorry if I have misspelling. I laugh at Hillary mixing up she was in fire. lol. I live in North Portland and never been in fire. I think I would remember that. So I guess Obamah is the man. Can anyone give me their thoughts to see another side. love hearing families views. love you. hugs

Jim also has Information

I just thought we were making the rounds so i added that for us MEN.
Sorry Sandy

Peter has information too

So remember, If you want to get the "correct" information, not warped by the mind of one taking chemo, ask him for the information, not me. You KNOW he is at his "office" covered over the keys, JUST WAITING !!!!! word is he doesn't really work. BG

SNOWING

We have snow. It has been a crazy day. Snow, sunshine, snow, sunshine. We have about 1 inch and coming down like crazy. I knew as soon as I got some flowers something would happen. It's suppose to get about 20 degrees tonight. Rick said it was over 100 in Yuma, Az. today where he is picking up.
One thing I forgot to mention about that so called paintball bruise on Rich's neck, (ya right Lueria) is the BIG smile on his face. I rest my case. It is so great to have young ones to pick on.
Love the biker joke. Some one didn't sign it though. Hey Ben, maybe when we get moved out there, I'll buy your bike from you and you will ave to get a new one. Seems crazy to me to have my bike licence and no bike. Love Ya All
Rick sends his love and is looking forward to getting back closer to ya all.

God and the Harley Rider

A man riding his Harley was riding along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, “Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish.” The biker pulled over and said, “Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over anytime I want.”

The Lord said, “Your request is materialistic, think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required reaching the bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! It will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind.”
The biker thought about it for a long time. Finally, he said,
“Lord, I wish that I and all men could understand women; I want to know how she feels inside, what she’s thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing’s wrong, and how I can make a Woman truly happy.”
The Lord replied, “You want two lanes or four?”

After that Justin said " you want to do this again"? I said " your on". This time I took him out. And I did win. He was very proud of me. I can tell.

We had a blast with our kids and our friends. Justin invited all my friends who rode. They were excited that Justin wanted them there. His Youth Pastor was with us and all his friends. Adults VS Kids.

#4 -- or (the twisted mind of Dick)

I dwell on the past to much as it is. I guess its the only thing i really have since the future is so unknown,
There are so many things i would have done different. I think the question is,
What would of you done different that would have changed the direction, of your life and how would it of changed the direction of the consequences of that decision.
If i would of not smoked that first joint, how would that of altered or directed my decisions.
If I would of stayed in school and not dropped out and went to live with mom, would i of gone to college or dropped out later?
not hitched hiked around the states for the next year or so. or would that happen down the line.
When i was in the service i was qualified to go into UDT which would of been a big step in my career. instead i chose to continue on with my rebellion and smoke a joint in boot and get caught. resulting in disqualifing me for UDT.
there are so many questions I ask myself and wonder if its part of my life no matter what i would of done different.
is our future predetermined and we just follow that outline for our lives or do we actually have choices and that directs the flow of direction our life follows.
But what makes us who we are and what we are to others?

The bet is ON

I see your flamingo and raise you one flamingo

Just in case I lost the bet about Lueria and the paintball competition

Another Loss yet gain

Illa received a call that her aunt in New Castle had passed away at the age of 93. Last time she saw her was in 1994 when we drove thru on our way to Florida. Another bell sounds in the air as the heavens open for her to enter a new and better life. BG

Games the people in the northwest play

Lueria is playing paint ball and she is going to try to whoop Justin's butt.
Any betters out there ? !! We can bet pictures of Jim and Dicks feet !! BG

Old Oregon Trail

As I recall, quite a few wagons came down here after being rained out in Oregon. So, I figure Illa and I will head up there to let all you people know our ancestors found the road south. Not to mention met a few mexicans and indians!??
Seems one of our "lost ones" that is on the east coast again is going to check out central Oregon. I just can't resist the chance to see her while she is close . So.... if anyone wants to buy us pancakes and eggs while we are around Eugene, and maybe do a bit of sight seeing, if you can, lets have a NOT family reunion, but just cause we can make it !! I do know most are still in slavery and have the chain around the neck and have to work. Hey !!! I finally beat someone at something !!!
Love you all even with the opinions you state and I love the fact we can disagree. (when we do) and Peter, thanx for your help, I was wrong and just had to work on past issues . It is an issue with several layers though, not just because, I hope you realize that(I am pretty sure you do) p.s. changed my e-mail address, add an extra 2 me

BEN

HI

Talking points

Jim's Name

We'll, sometimes mistakes are made when naming a baby. There also could be a mis-translation, like one of our very own could be the more accurate, 'second favorite son'.

Or....God may have a plan. Remember the disciple Peter was renamed from Simon, which meant 'a reed shaken in the wind'. The Apostle Paul was renamed from Saul, meaning 'desired'. While Paul means 'small'. Since Saul had everything going for him (but looks and speaking ability), he needed that name to keep him in his place.

Ok, let's all figure out a good name for Jim. Any ideas out there? Peter

ok time to check in

So Darrly and I are planning on getting married this summer. Man living with a man is not easy. There has been a few times I had to decide if I actaully like him or not. But we've come thios far and I guess I'll keep him.

Now my problem is ... the wedding. I guess he wants a real one. You all know how I feel about marriage and all that... But I guess we'll do the whole I do's ! My proble is now .. with the reunion to go to; everyone has there time cut out and planned. So I guess I'll set a date and just hope so of you who are close will want to come. This is a pretty big step for me .. you know to actually make a real committment!

So any ideas of time lines any of you might be avialable or be able to come for it. I will have it at our home. That way his freinds from OPDx can come if they wish as well.

Outside of that .. well I've been too busy to think straight !

Same ole life ...

Hello From San Francisco

Believe it or not I have tried to blog a couple of times and couldn't get it to post. I think Peter has helped me finally figure out what I have been doing wrong. So here I am on the blog and I can't think of anything to say!! I have two Wednesday's off from school so I am really loving the rest. What makes it even more exciting is that Lydia coming out from Tucson on the 19th and will stay until the 25th. I am so excited for her to come and see our new home. She has been very homesick for about 5 months, but because of the Holidays (she works retail) and then getting a 2nd job at Target she did not feel the time was right, until now, to ask for time off.

OK - can't think of anything else to say, but I want you all to know that I love you and I will try to think of something exciting to talk about.

Why do we love

Have you ever wondered what makes us love, and why ? Is it what we are feeling or is it because of what we see and the enjoyment we receive from the experience ? From one point it seems to actually be a selfish act, for what we can receive doesn't it ?!
And think of it, we can love so many different things, people and animals. We should all realize by now that anything we love will be changed with time for many reasons. Yet we open our hearts for the emotions which churn inside and change even as we begin to feel and realize they are there.
Then the anguish as the thing we love vanishes as if enveloped in the mist. The pain as our heart breaks, bends, melts shatters. We know we can never open our heart again to such terrible pain, yet in time .......
Have you ever wondered what makes the heart work ? Why we have a heart to be broken ? How to repair a heart ?
Have you ever wondered why we need to feel pain once in a while, to remember that we can love ??

Come on, news, news........bring it on.

Is everyone out there waiting anxiously and holding your breath for another picture of my feet?

Please Read this is so true.....

Very touching... good read for my motorcycle friends!

Body: I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line. But you didn't see me put an extra $10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday.

I saw you pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk. But you didn't see me playing Santa at the local mall.

I saw you change your mind about going into the restaurant when you saw my bike parked out front. But you didn't see me attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief.

I saw you roll up your window and shake your head when I rode by. But you didn't see me riding behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window.

I saw you frown at me when I smiled at your children. But you didn't see me, when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless.

I saw you stare at my long hair. But you didn't see me and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love.

I saw you roll your eyes at our leather jackets and gloves. But you didn't see me and my brothers donate our old ones to those that had none.

I saw you look in fright at my tattoos. But you didn't see me cry as my children where born or have their name written over and in my heart.

I saw you change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere. But you didn't see me going home to be with my family.

I saw you, complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be. But you didn't see me when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane.

I saw you yelling at your kids in the car. But you didn't see me pat my
child's hands knowing she was safe behind me.

I saw you reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road. But you didn't see me squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn.

I saw you race down the road in the rain. But you didn't see me get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date.

I saw you run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time. But you didn't see me trying to turn right.

I saw you cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in. But you didn't see me leave the road.

I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to pass. But you didn't see me. I wasn't there.

I saw you go home to your family. But you didn't see me. Because I died that day you cut me off. I was just a biker. A person with friends and a family. But you didn't see me.

Repost this around in hopes that people will understand the biker community

No grandkids but...

For all of you that would like to bee at the beach........don't look. It was windy and cold. Better to take a little catnap and watch for Aleutian Geese flying over.
