Hi, just a update about Alicia. My mom.........

Hi, I talked to my mom and she said she would like you to know.  She is having surgery June 3rd at 9am . They will put some tube in her, her kidney is not working well.  She has had some tough news for her and I. She needs to start dialyses. She will be having it 3 times a week i believe and go to a clinic for it.  I don't know the name of the hospital. I know its in Vancouver Wa. I feel so sorry about this news.  I took her to the beach for mothers day weekend. We had a blast together. She says she wants to come to the family reunion. But we will see how she feels.  Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Rick has been helping her with these issues.  I don't much details so any questions please ask Mom or any of them. My mom does not mind them sharing information.  Uncle Jess and Alilia have also been invited to all the meeting. Its great to know she has great support group. I feel blessed mom has her sister's there for her. She is happy. Please feel free to call my mom Alicia anytime. She is a night owl now days so call anytime. hugs

Lueria,
Sorry to hear that your mom is having the issues that she is. She is a strong woman and with all the other issues she has faced in her life, i know that she will be strong in with this one too.
Im glad that you got her out on mums day and got to spend time with her. especially at the coast. there is just something healing about being in that fresh salt air and enjoying the beauty that God created.
Thanks for sharing the information on how she is doing.

Just a note to tell everyone. Rick and I spend almost everyday with Lisi, she is doing really great. Nothing to worry about, I wish I felt as good as her. We go to the dog park 2 or 3 times a week. Yesterday she walk the loop almost 5 times and each loop is .45 miles around. It started raining so had to cut the last loop short.
She is not going to a hospital, she is going to a clinic down the road. will sit in a recliner and bee able to watch TV and visit with other people will her dialysis is going on. It is a very simple process, nothing dramatic. Her biggest challenge is not being able to have a smoke for 4 hours. As you said Dick, she is very strong and although she is a bit nervous as anyone would be haveing to undergo something different, she has alot of possitive support from Rick and I and Lili and Jess.

Leuria and Bon; Over the last few years Lisi is one we could rest assured that she was well loved and cared for. So many in the family, with those who have married into it, have such a wonderful and giving nature. I am thankful how God has worked in our lives and provided for everyone. We should continually give our Lord thanks for his mercies to us. Love you all. PnK

I'm sure glad that you took the time to update us all Lueria, and Bonnie, I'm sure grateful to know that you and Rick are there to be with Lili, Jess and Lisi. Knowing that Dick is with Chuck and that Lisi isn't alone is a huge comfort to Jim & I. Take care everyone.

Lueria, thanks for the update. We all do share much health similarities and so it's good to be aware of family health issues. When a person starts kidney dialysis is that something that a person can work out of, or is it a thing that a person must deal with for the rest of their life?

Jim, know that it can be where it can be so that it can be only two times, and then also she can go on this list for a kidney transplant. As medical studies progress, we will know.

She is doing great, and we will know more down the road, I am looking into other locatons and treatments, and also as I am her twin,... we have joined the twin service in the State of Washington on studies, and on the register in this State.

God is the healer, and I know that Lisi and I believe he can heal, but it is up to Him, and we rest our trust in Him. He will lead us in His wishes, and that is all we can do.

I know from what we have been through in life, the both of us, we have seen this, and trust His wishes, and have seen this Hand in the healing His wishes. Also how he has safe guarded Hands in our life, and with other members of the family.

What He wishes and knows, it is in His hands and we both are willing to let Him, do his bidding now our own. Love to all
Lili

yes, either a kidney transplant or this. We can get samples and see if anyone has a match too. but lots of factors for that too. She will do great. hugs

we need a bet here, I vote for the 25th, as Bonnies Mom, Mikes daughter, and Lisi and I are on the 25th............ any one else???

I would think that Lisi wouldnt care if she had her dialysis on the 25th. just as long as it gets done.
