went up wentworth springs road to hit icehouse. got as far as uncle toms cabin, but the snow got to deep. Decided to get out and take a walk. Jack didnt fair so well.
It was a beautiful day up there. Wish the Bronco was a little more capable. I was by myself so i didnt attempt to go any farther.

Smart not going too far by yourself. Do you carry survival gear (besides gun) when you go to such places? I've read a single candle in a car can raise temp by a bunch. I read about a guy that starved in a fully outfitted camper. Got snowed in on forestry road from surprise snow fall!
shovel, tools, long underwear, 2 maybe 3 coats, extra pants, matches, hand warmers, tow strap. nuts, water, energy bars, jerky. I need to find an inexpensive low temp sleeping bag that i can keep in the car.
oh and i cant carry a weapon :(, its california.
