Jonah/Reunion

This is Jonah, our youngest. He is six and caught this big trout out of the pond close by. I didn't take this pic, but we are here in Colorado on a vacation. Crazy weather here in the high countryk; snow, wind, hot............................Speaking of reunions. Karen and I vote for CC again. We would prefer (as already said) a spot where we can circle the wagon train and all be together. How about that camp ground just past the big trees towards Grants Pass. I'm nominating Glenda for Black Sheep award next year; any seconds? And Teisha should get Most Improved Second Gen. Did I tell you all, Chuck called, and is looking forward to the next reunion! PnK

WOW!!!!! im impressed. and a little jealous. nice native. look at the eyes on Jonah. hes just glowing. it is so cool to see kids take a intrest in fishing. did i mention i was jealous?
i think the camp ground your talking about is Jedidiah (sp) Smith state park. All the times ive been in the area i have not yet made it there. maybe next time. Glenda had a good reason for not coming. so im saying nay to your nomination.

Yep, there's always "good" reasons. Life is like that isn't it? We're not making any judgments about reasons, she just happens to be the one who has missed THE LAST TWO YEARS IN A ROW! By the way, I'm sending this to Glenda. The nomination holds. BTW, she responded to my nagging today and texted she's ok.

Jess and Lisi, also would vote though they said they'd have to see about a hotel or motel... loved CC last time we were all there, so that goes for us, and Bonnie and Rick also would be close, and added within the group,.. we have had a great time, on their visit with us, and they loved my Church, we attended today... It's a praise Church, though, they are taking good care of Agness, my step mom, in her last day's, and take time off with us, Jess and Rick really hit it off.

Love all

I think whoever wins the Black Sheep Award is going to have to fight Chuck for it. Jedediah State Park is a nice park and we should be Be able to get spaces together. It is nice to be right next to the river too. I vote for that one. I think you are able to download a map of it and be able to plan a section for everyone. I nominate Jim to check that out site wise as he is so close and goes by there quite often fishing and kayaking and could tell us just which sites, area would be best for all. Don't forget to take into consideration the bathroom facilities for those that don't bring their own. Now you might be able to talk me into a kayak there. just remember, i swim like a rock. Now to just pick a good time. Summer best so as not to take kids out of school.

Anyway, that is my 2 bits. Love to all.

I like the idea of going to Jedediah. Of course, I like going anywhere that isn't a great big city. Trees + Family = GOOD! I vote for summer for the kid vs school reason, and because if it's actually warm there is more chance of me getting int he water and not chasing kids away from the water. Also, Sam and Liz (BJ and April's girls) wanted to be able to see Stout Grove again... which would be good as it will help Sam with the story she's been working on.

Grants Pass would be ok... but isn't it colder there? Odd sounding, coming from someone that used to ski as much as I did...
