It seems like just last week when we talked to our pastor and his wife about them wanting to adopt baby Jesse. Now Jesse will be working through the summer and then on to U of O for their forestry program. Pastor Ron is a little younger than I am, and often comments on how hard it is to keep up with his family. There are two more after Jesse, one 17 and one 14, and one older and in college. When I look back on the life they have given Jesse, with the continued sacrifices of finances, time and energy, it causes me to again give thanks to God for his continual blessings on our family.

Graduation
Glenda came down on Thursday evening, spent the night with Lueria and family. Karen and I picked her up on Friday. Saturday was the graduation, Sunday the reception. Then we had brunch with Jesse and the family on Monday, then off to Portland to take Glenda back to the airport. Whew.... it was a busy weekend, but well worth the time to celebrate his life.

It sounds like a very happy and joyous time. I really enjoy graduations because of all the good feelings that come with them; optimism, hope, love, concern, and validation of a good decision. Your pastor and his wife are good people.
I'm glad that everyone was able to make all the connections. Life is busy for everyone, but there are some things that trump that day-to-day routines.
