This local finger is more accurate than the local weather man. It’s wrong only 50% of the time. It works cheap and never complains.
A dry finger means that it’s not raining.
A wet or damp finger means that it’s wet outside, or someone got the finger wet.
A dirty finger means that it’s dirty outside.
If the finger is bent to the left it means that the wind is blowing from the right.
You can figure it out yourself if the finger is bent to the right.
If the finger is pointing excitedly it means that there is a fish on the pole and someone should do something about it.
If the finger is white it’s probably too late. Frostbite has occurred.
If the fishing pole in the background is swaying back and forth the weather doesn’t matter. Grab the pole and save the fish.

Yes, but can it be used for target practice?
i think i either see a bugger on the end of your finger, or you are pointing at the face in those trees.
where did you go fishing? did you catch anything? what did you use for bait? are there even any fish in that river? how cold was the water? huh?huh?huh?
At Cooper Flat. One small steelhead. Roe. Yes. I know that it's out of character for me, but I didn't get it, so I don't know the temperature of the water.
Jim
