wow glad im not that guy or girl as the case is

60!!! amazing.
You know, when you think about it, its not that old. Especially when the youngest is 50. I myself never thought i would make it this far. Its only by Gods grace and mercy that i have. He has really blessed me when I really think about it. I could be laying in a gutter or under a bridge or homeless or whatever.
I really cant wait to see everyone at the reunion. i really hope that EVERYONE will be able to be there.

Dick,
'Yer right, fifty is just a young pup. A pup ready to experience and appreciate life now that one (Glenda) knows what to do, but more important, what not to do. And, what things are really important to happiness and fulfillment in a person's life. I think that God is looking out for us, in spite of ourselves and I don't mean to direct that comment to anyone other than myself. But, is it God directing our lives, or is it a direction that we've chosen for ourselves through making these types of decisions before. I really don't know. I'm clamoring with the idea of God directing our lives and us choosing to make the choices in our lives that lead us to where we are today. Not that God necessarily controls our lives, but rather, while he is always willing to accept us, we choose, eventually, to see things his way. Thereby, coming closer to Him.
While it's important to look forward to what may be (the reunion), for a short time, an important event, I think it's necessary to also be able to relate on a deeper, more permanent level.
This blog is a step in the right direction if everyone allows themselves expresses themselves on another level.

By the way, I've written a short essay on the subject of 'if God chooses to control everything, or not' If you'd like a different take on it, check it out. Peter Sr. http://www.dallasoregon.com/rouzaud/luck.htm

ya know thats the thing about a relationship with God is that he accepts us as we are. He loves us no matter, there is a scripture that says Romans 8:39 "there is nothing that can seperate us from the love of God." I think the key word is "nothing." If I were the only person on this earth that needed to be saved he would of died for me. And that goes for us all. but He gives us the choice to accept that Love hence and as a result of accepting that love theres forgiveness, grace and mercy. There are so many aspects to Gods love. The only thing He ask of us is to accept it. Even of we reject it that will not change the fact that He loves us, and if we are willing and allow Him he is the one who will change us from the inside. Its all about the choices WE make, and the results of those choices. Religion has made it so hard. God loves me if Im bla bla bla. or if i do a certain thing, or act a certain way.
But that is not unconditional love, and Gods love is unconditional.
I dont think its a matter of seeing things his way.Its a matter of Him revealing his nature to us.

Oh and since Glenda has been there, done it now i can do everthing right learning from her mistakes. ;)
