Lueria your mothers correct name is Alisia, as family knew her as, Alisia or Lisi, she only started this spelling later on, so her real name is ALISIA JO LANGE on the adopton papers, with the Langes, on this you are wrong, you know her as Alicia, as she took the spelling of what is was with her real mom. As we could not find the spellingt in this. Aunty Lili, or Alilia as you know me. In our family we were known as Lisi and Lili and did not take the name of Alisia and Alilia until we left home and became of the real spelling of the name. So you know it's, our true spelling,::: Alilia and Alisia.
A rose of another name still smells as sweet! We love you with any name. Happy early anniversary.

This sounds like a good place to enjoy one's 60th birthday! You'll have to enjoy it for me too, as since I had to take off so much time last spring I probably shouldn't take off more this spring. May you have 60 years more.

its on my birth certificate. and my mom has never said that to me. lol. I guess for 30 years you know her more then me again. lol She never claimed it. hahahahha
Lueria, don't feel bad, parents don't tell their kids everything. Your kids will probably find out things about you when they get your age that they never knew. Most the time kids really show no interest in their folks younger years until they get older themselves. Sometimes not even then. Or their so caught up in the bad memories they forget to care.
lol, I don't think kids forget to care. I think its like any relationship mother son, sister sister, sister brother, dad and son. it takes two to build relationships. I tell my kids everything like my name, where i was born, they know about theri family, ect. I let my kids come up with theri decisions and we talk in great detail. Just saying:)My kids and I talk and they see how important they are by my actions. I walk the walk. Its up to mothers to build relationships. I feel its my job with my kids. I invite my kids to everything,and I never miss a thing they invite me to. :)
but that is why i love this site. I take the time to read it and learn from it. I learn something new about my family all the time. I see how important sister brother relationships are. And see how words can be taken out of contents or with love. :)
I am trying to go to this too. but again. School is the 25 th and Mckenzie missed 3 days and it was a big deal with her grades. She made it up. but she can't take any time off. again. fri-sun is all we can do after school. just found out. it's my 40th bd too. fun times for all of us. ;) you will have a blast with the family. love you all.
