Sandi's Good Idea

Let's try to get everyone to say when they CAN meet. Make your connections give you at least 5 different weekend that work for them. Then we can match dates and get the greatest common factor. The sooner we can get these dates, the sooner we can make a plan. Sandi

(and Peter says) By the way. Florence is good, but a bit far for some perhaps; and a bit cool for others.

Thanks Andrew! Now come on everyone, give us your dates!!! We may not be able to match everyone, but we'll try to get the weekend with the greatest numbers of people.

Any weekend is fine. Like I said, all I need is the ability to get online to do the research for my various papers and submit them. I am supposed to be having a hysterectomy soon, but I don't think that will interfere. I'll let everyone know once it's scheduled. I still have a little hoop jumping to do on that.

Any weekend is fine with me. Central Oregon is too far to go with the limited amount of time I will be able to get off so I vote for southern Oregon for the meeting place.

You know, that June 19 date MIGHT be good. It'll still be warm there then, but it won't be TOO terribly hot. It would probably be easier for my children to travel with the babies when they are very little... not sure about that.
Sounds like we may be losing the coastal house group people. I hope not, but sounds like you all have spent a lot of $$$ on your birthday weekend. I'm going to post on FB about this too and see if we can get some responses.

Maybe we can do something very "old fashioned" here and actually use TELEPHONES to contact our branch of the family tree and find out what's the bottom line.

I don't want to organize or coordinate this reunion. I am just trying to be helpful with getting a group decision. You know if you don't come to this, you're be so sad next winter!!! Who wants to miss out on Uncle Dick's s'mores fest, or seeing all the brothers and sisters (aunts and uncles) laughing exactly the same way at the same jokes??!!! That's just funny that's what that is. You know you want it...Come on! We older ones will not be here forever. Don't miss out on opportunities to see us and here how things were back in the good ol days! =)

My vote is either the coast, CC, or Rouge River. THat is easiest for the rest of my family to get too. Florence is ok. not much farther. We all seem to work weekends. I may have another job by then. Going back to driving so might be out of the loop, who know? Taking it "One day at a time" for now. Love you all.
