Just when you thought the worst part of caring for someone has passed. NOOOOO.
Lets put it this way'
I would rather get an enema than give an enema.
It wasnt really that bad. just a new adventure. the hard part was making sure the patient was comfortable and relaxed. Once he got comfortable all "went" well.
So he had his biopsy and we will get the results in the next 10 or so days.
oh, and we may get rain. woohoo :)

is this uncle Dick? lol, name at "end" or being helps. lol
and I don't want to give an enema or get one. :)
oh and rain is here in portland.
I guess in a sense you can relate to how President Obama feels. I don’t know that he’s ever had to give an enema, but he has had to be make tough decisions for the country’s problems even though he wasn’t the cause of them. I’ll bet he’s hoped that the worst was over many times. NOOOOOO. Then, he has be responsible for giving an infusion of money to jump-start a plugged-up economy just hoping to hell that it works and he won’t have to do it again. He too expects that the nation will be cleaned, comfortable, and relaxed with the infusion of money and all goes well, but the patient is going to be pissed off whether it works or not, and he just hopes that he won’t have to repeat the process again.
I say a big “Thank You” to both of you guys,
Jim
thanks Jim, but how dare you lump me in with him. ;)
thats ok. I still love ya.
oh ya...
Dick
I gotta tell you Dick, it takes a special person; and apparently you are! NOW FOR THE LIGHTER SIDE OF LIFE:
Jim's allegory, welllllll. I totally agree with the President when he said, "If I said fish live in the sea, Republicans would say no". The poor guy can't win no matter what he does. On the other hand, he's kinda getting back what he's been handing out about Bush for the last 2 years. The President did quote Truman: "the buck stops here". It's kinda like the famous thing said by Janet Reno after the massacre at Wako, "I take full responsibility". But she went on, like her actions account for nothing- still getting her paycheck, now her pension. BTW, just so you know, I sure wish President Bush (Jr.) would admit a mistake in these last two wars. But I don't ever remember that he continued to blame past administrations for failures of the two branches of government he was in charge of.
Oh, I could be wrong about all the above. I see "through a glass darkly" .
Dick, get some Cascara Sagrada at the Health food store, it's a great cleanser for that problem. Have him take 3 when things get difficult. Doesn't the doc have him on a stool softener?
Alright you guys, let's not talk about things so controversial, let's stick to politics, etc!
i think the media is making the issue with terri jones a bigger issue than it needs to be. if they would of left it alone, he might of dropped the idea.
nobody would of know, nobody would of cared.
he has the right to do it. is it the right thing to do? i dont think so.
Oh yeah!!!!.......actually, I'm in total agreement with you. Before the site went down I wrote the guy and gave him some scripture. However, I don't have a whole lot of hope that he reads his Bible, or cares what it says. Some churches are no better in their service to God than the radical Muslims they hate. Ideology is always idolatry, regardless what label a person puts on themselves.
and see, that is the problem with religion. and it always will be. weather its Catholic, baptist, episcopalian, protestant, adventist, mormon, Buddhist, sda, or radical Muslim. or whatever. each one thinks they have the truth and will say that the other religions are of the devil. God never intended for his people to worship him out of fear, and that is what religion brings.
i remember when i was a kid that it was only the chosen sda that were going to be saved because they kept the sabbath. and its like you say Peter, I dont think they "read the bible" and prove their beliefs with the bible.
so the same goes with this rev. Where in the bible does it say to burn the scriptures of those who study a different idea than ours? we are to love them and pray and hope that love will lead them to Christ and not a set of rules and regulations.
Jess and I love the way our comment's are removed....... hugs to all.
Jess wishes to know, who can remove that is placed here, in any of the comments, or what is posted. If this is done, then it is not right, also as this is a family blog, we should have the freedom to voice and be heard, in respect of what we say, if removing this, it is an attact and also the freedom to have contact with family. THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND NOT A CHRISTAN PRACTICE. It is showing, I have the right to remove, the other persons right, on the family blog., the person who does this, shows, their way of saying, I have the right to contol what is placed on this blog., some others wish to hear and share with Lili, and whom ever is doing this, is not allowing this......... this is not a blog, for freedom,.....
Have our comments become subject to censorship???
If we don't like what someone says, why not skip over it instead of eraseing it. We don't want to be like Hitler.
We thought this Blog was for ALL members of our family not just a chosen few.
We would like to read Lili's comment. Agreeing with it or not agreeing is not the reason for this blog as far as we understood everyone has the right to their own opinion. We wouldn't have much to talk about if everyone thought the same.
We need to keep our personal FEElING inside instead of attacking and hurting others.
Most the the time this blog is quiet because no one write.
PS: We where not aware anyone but the person writing could erase someone elses comment. Makes us think twice about using the blog.
Maybe this is one reason everyone has gone to Facebook.

usually if a comment has been deleted, there will be a note on the space where the comment was. ive deleted my own comments, because i didnt like the syntax of what i said or it was just famblings. (new word, family ramblings :) and im to lazy to go back thru it and fix all the errors.
Dick's right, deleted comments always show that it was "deleted". As far as I know, there is no way to delete a comment without a record that it was once put there. But I'll look through the blog and see what I can find. In addition, to my knowledge, no one has been censored. The only time a comment has been removed is when there was a sensitive situation with a child, and the parent of that child asked that the comments regarding 'their' child, might offend said child. AND, I should add here, though 'none' of your comments have been deleted, some personal responses are better said via personal email. For instance: "Peter, you are a total idiot, I want you to quit robbing little old ladies and torturing pacific coast squid". Something like that she be reserved to email, and settled one on one.
I'll let you know if I can find record of Lili and Jess's comment. But at this point, all evidence looks like computer or server error.
Wow! I never thought a simple enema could generate so much interest. Anyone that posts about their goiter or gizzard, watch out!
In regard to deleted comments, I don't see any record of anything written and then deleted lately. I know in the past, I, like Dick, have deleted something I've written, but it shows a record of a comment having been there and removed. Are you sure you posted it? Am I missing something here? As I look at the comments, there is an icon of a trash can on the bottom of where I post which means that only I can delete it. There is not a can visible to me below any anothers comments. Again, am I missing something? I've never been accused of being too bright.
Jim
P.S. By the way, I prefer chewing on Cascara bark myself. Reminds me of the time.......
jim, is that when.....
WAIT!!!! arn't you suppose to be working?
Shhhhhh ...............
