Count me in! I love mushrooms. Edible ones that is. It's been really hot here. The temps have been in the 70s. I actually had to turn on the cooler in my classroom today. Jim
You silly boys, Dick was also talking about huckleberries. You can try muchrooms in pancakes but that would be pretty disgusting although I wouldn't put it past some of the Tenn. folk
I remember the times at Spirit Lake, and the times of fun we had as kids, with the parents in the cabin at Jack's place and all of us kids, in the cabin playing games, also boating, riding the motor bikes, swimming, also the times when we Suzy, Lisi and I were not allowed to go with the other kids, as they swam and had fun. Seeing them go off and also being allowed their friends to be with them. Good and Bad, but how we loved having Bonnie and Dick, around, and seeing them having fun with their friends.
We did go and get mushrooms, and learned what were good and bad, also going to our aunty Gorgie and Pete and the mushrooms at their cabin. Suzy was not allowed their as much as Lisi and I.... but we had our fun. Thank you Bonnie, and Rick for the memories and the fun we did have growing up.
I have three memories of camping with the Large gang, 'trying' to get up on ski's; accidents throwing a burning marshmello on a baby; and Jack making me a wooden boat with an ax. I kept that boat for a long time.

i like my mushrooms sautéed in a little butter and a splash of garlic. So I will be expecting a care package in the mail soon.
There are some growing in the yard. But I dont think I want to eat those.
on a side note. I found somebody here selling huckleberries from washington. so i bought a few. now what to do with them.
Here is a idea. Put them in pancakes just like we use to do at Spirit Lake. Yummy
Oh man, I can't think of anything more that will ruin a pancake breakfast more! Karen might like them though.
mushrooms in pancakes? dosnt sound appetizing to me.
Must be a Tennessee thing.
Wait a minute, Bon said it was at Spirit lake. Does anyone else remember that? I don't

This is a great illustration how men and women communicate.
