Since Peter didn't show up to help split the wood, I had to ask Andrew to give me my birthday present early. He came over and we split some wood with the splitter that the neighbor had rented. The good news, there were plenty of endorphins to go around. And, the best news? There's still more wood left!!!

Karen and I have been at the coast cooling off! We took our trailer with two sisters and one brother-in-law. Got back, and now I'm melting. Very hot here.
I thought i was Peters truck in the back ground.

Actually we have had over 50 fires real close to us in the last 3 weeks now. About 4 fires that have been burning since the beginning of the lightning storms 3 weeks ago. Some days you can't see 4 miles away.
There we go with Californians polluting our country here in Oregon with their fires !!
