Other,
Interesting issue. I sense an amendment to the Constitution blowing in the breeze. What were there of the Signers of the Constitution, eight that were not natural born citizens, and they the sons and of immigrants? This could very well be a situation that could, should, and needs to be resolved by this November. By the Constitution the point is valid and Obama could not, at present, be President. I would imagine if this were resolved as an amendment through Congress then it would probably be decided on party lines. Given the immigrant nation that we are, it is only a question of time before this issue needs to be addressed.

I believe you are right. I just hate the idea of the "terminator" and others like him being able to "run" our government !! I think Obama is using the time as a push to open the door, all the "politicians should have been aware of this. I can't understand their NOT, and they wonder why the people don't trust the government ?!!

I hate to say it, and actually I am not prone this way; but I'm convinced that the vast majority of politicians are bums. They only say and act on what is politically expedient and are incapable of seeing anything outside of their ideology and traditional support group. Some time, when you have some time to kill, watch Hannity and Combes on Fox network. Those two are a perfect reflection of our congresses inability to see one another's point of view. Regardless of the issue: Immigration, abortion, the economy, the war, foreign oil, or the environment, our nation is stagnant, and incapable of meaningful change. I'm just glad that our inner hopes and dreams are not dependent on the state of the union; but as those who citizenship has an eternal base, we have a better hope.

worse thing is thinking of Clinton back in the office again. We got him out once. Seems people forget what he did. It would be a disaster having him there again, even as the first "lady" !!
