There is goodness left in the world.

Sandi belongs to an online group and was sharing the fact that I have prostate cancer. This group of ladies, that we've never met, responded not by just saying that they're sorry and are praying for us, but they actually went to the time, effort, and expense of making me this prayer quilt. They prayed over it and asked for my healing. We've never met them, but they felt compelled to do this for me. I think that I'm in good hands.

We're going down Jan. 27-29 for consultations and come back to work for the following week. I'll go down on Feb. 7 as treatments start on Feb. 8.

I think there's a lot that goes on that is not obvious.

Pr 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Jim, what a beautiful piece of art. I am so touched by their faith. Do you remember the story in Luke 5 about the men who carried their friend to be healed by Jesus and couldn't get close to him because the house was too full? They went up on the roof, tore a whole in it and lowered their friend in front of Jesus and he healed him. In verse 20 it says "when Jesus saw their faith"..... In verse 26 - "Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, "We have seen remarkable things today." We cannot predict what the future will hold, but I agree 100% - you are in good hands.

What you can't see are all the hand tied knots. Those ladies prayed each time they tied a ribbon knot. There are dozens of them. It is so touching that people reach out to one another in times of trouble. What a testament to faith!
