She said that he is doing alot better than she expected and that he is happy to be in his own home and away from the hospital. Evidently the doctors put him on some meds that he needs to be on for now till he gets his diet in order. Then hopefully he will be able to back off on the meds.
Im glad that she is able to go and check on him and to help him out a little as much as she can.
and im sure that she will add more but she forgot her computer and asked me to post that she saw Chuck.
oh and illa...
get back to work and finish your deck. im sure its feeling lonesome. :)

Illa, thank you so much for being there for Chuck. I think taking care of others is a special calling for you. You know when to be firm and when to give words of encouragement. Love ya. Gi

Just so all know, that I am with Chuck, he went out and got a hair cut, shure needed it, and also another bath, trying to get the hosital out of his system.
Also his blood work in normal. Cutting out the beans, helped, also we went through his canned goods, and all.
We are working great together.
LIli
Lili and Illa,
Thanks for being there for Chuck. You're both angels.

More good news. Thanks for letting us know what your up to. Those kind of things make one feel so much better. Keep up the good work. Love ya.
Lili, glad to know that you arrived safely. Hopefully the heat won't aggrevate your allergies too much. The Central Valley can be brutal in the summer. Give Chuck my love. You guys take care. Love ya.
Dear all,
I am doing great, and loving the sun, no problem with the allergies, as I am cleaning the house, also it's helping Chuck. We have been out the last couple of days, today, we made an apointment for his medical doctor and I doctor, then we wnet to Border's for a cold drink, where he likes to go, by the way.
It's neat to get to know my brother and just hanging out. We are seeing a lot of each other, in each other, he has my laugh also.
He did start getting tired, so we came back home, and Mitch came by to visit his.
Love Lili
They are getting along together and Lili is showing Chuck what he needs to know and what to look for, how to do his blood testing before and after meals. I think she is the best right now as she has had to deal with Lici's Diabetes. She is managing it pretty well with the diet. As far as we know Ben did not have it until he was in the
hospital and the nurses were there to do the testing. They were teaching me but by the time we got to bring him home, it was a moot point. When Chuck is feeling more up to it Lili will bring him up to my house for a visit. Probably when the heat is really hitting the valley.
It was 107 in parts of Redding when I came back thru today. I will be so glad when we all can get to the coast and visit.
I got to stop and see my friend in Oregon House on the way back and cheer her up. It has been about 4 years since I got to see her and her family.
I am happy anytime to go check on things. I am also glad that he was better than I was expecting. I think that he has been alone so long that he forgets that he has family that wants and loves him. I just hope that he continues to let us help and support him in his decisions. Doesn't mean that we have to dictate or smother, just make suggestions or options and let him mull it over. Ben was the same way, very independent but would listen to suggestions if made the right way or clarified. Then follow the advice if he thought it was good. But then, I think we are actually pretty much the same.
So, anyway, thank you Lili for being able to be there and help him in this time.
I picked up some deck stain while on my trip so now I get to paint and work on the other room. It will have to get done pretty soon as the lumber on the top layer is stating to warp. I have starting moving things from the front area so that I can start soon on the front. Have lots of plants to move. Fun and joy. Me thinks at times my yard is toooooo big. Thank heavens for the invention of the riding lawnmower.
Well,I had bet get to bed. It is finally cooling off so hopefully I can sleep. Talk to you all later.
Love Illa
Hello all,
Mitch here, and thanks Illa for coming to see Chuck, he said it was nice to visit with you, and I think now he may feel more happy to know all his family is there for him when things go wrong, and thanks Lili for coming and talking to the Doctor & nurse at the hospital so you could know what Chuck was taking, and what to do for him, Chuck is looking, and sounding much better now.
I hope you all have a happy 4th of July, and take care, I love you all.
Sincerely
Mitch.
Thank you Illa and Mitch for the update. To know Chuck is in good hands is a load off all our minds. I am so happy that Lili was able to stay there. You 2nd gens should know, as Illa and Lili will tell you, 'you can have no faith in the medical system'. It really takes some pro-active involvement by the family to assure things don't get skipped.
Dear Family, Chuck keeps to himself to much, and I am making sure we get out, finding out his favorite places, and he's doing great.. dealing the the allergies, good cleaning, does wonder's. Also he is getting better about his eating, he's a can person, not good with all that they put into the can's so they can go on the shelves.
He is leaning from the blood work and food, as it has a big impact on the body, stay away from beens family, (though we all like them), it really shoot's the blood up... gases to!!!!
