He is settlin in

I let george out for a little while yesterday, watched him the whole time to see where he would go. everytime he would hear a car go by he would make a mad dash back inside:) when i left for a couple hours i left him in, and then let him back out for a couple hours at 2:30 this morning. he was crying and driving me nuttier. he was out for about 3 hours and came right back in. i will leave the front door open so that he can come in and out as he wills while im home.
I know this topic is pointless, but so is my life. so there ya go.

i let him out and he didnt come back after 4 hrs. i found him at the old apartment. guess ill have to keep him in longer. not real happy about it. he dosnt like being confined in the walls.

Dick, just don't use that 'pet carrier' to keep him around! I guess it takes quite awhile to train him to live at a new place.

You might need to leave an old shirt or something that has your fresh smell on it by the front door outside so that he knows that there is where you are. he is used to the old place and sometimes it is hard to get a cat used to a new place. I don't know if you have something familiar for him outside but it would be something to consider. Illa

I've heard that if you rub butter on his front paws, he'll never leave. It's worth a try... hope that George settles in soon.

Sandi's right Dick, but she forgot; when you rub the butter, you have to be in your birthday suit, wearing only a hat with one white feather from an Emu. Let us know if this works. PnK
