Olympic torch Extinguished
So much for GREEN PEACE !! What a shame to have this happen. The uniting for nations for at least a little space of time snuffed out again. France and Green Peace are both of the same caliber, duds !! If this action was allowed by green peace, they should hide in shame !! As usual, a few JERKS mess it up so others can't enjoy what they should have been able to. It is PASSED time people should stand up and stand for what they believe is their right too. I will never vote for anyone connected with green peace again. I had thought some points they brought up valid, and still do, but as long as they sanction what these nuts did, I will never support them. As the war in Nam, there are several sides and you can find good and bad in each. It is how it is presented that will add or delete support. green peace ??!! NO WAY !!!! bg

Yep. I love green and I love peace. I even love green peas. But I do NOT love Green Peace's track record. Ramming fishing vessels, putting innocent people in harm's way, doing violent things does not promote peace.
This organization is a thinly veiled terrorist cell. Whatever credibility their philosophy may have is completely ruined by their actions.
Their actions speak louder than their words.
Very sad. We need people of integrity and true courage to step forward now, not another radical group of extremists.
I am glad to see others see the flaw in what they do too. Gives me a bit more reassurance. The ideas in many ways seem good, just, as you said, the actions speak a different message.
WE like green beans and green peas, now turn green when we see them !! lol
It's too bad that they have to do things like this to show their non-support of the Olympics. And to think, all this because of China's human rights record and their refusal to recognize Tibet as a sovereign country.
That does it no more green peas for me!!!!!!!

While I agree that China is not right, look at other nations and the genocide they do !! Plus, ask the saying goes,"two wrongs don't make a right" !! HOWEVER.... don't TOTALLY give up on greens! lol
