He is in a lot of pain, he's not wanted to take the heavy med's, but is doing great, they can't believe his heart rate. He is looking forward to the operation to be over, we will know Monday, the swelling is going down. If it is not down in the area that they are working with, they will clean it. I don't know much but will find out what time he goes in Monday.
I have to deal with the billing, of the household, also. The hospital lost his phone, so have a new one coming. Also it's been great to see the family come visit him.
At Burgerville, to get Jess his coffee and go see him with Tinkerbell and Lisi, then do business looking at a Buick for Jess, as he will need this for his needs, and if he needs anything special will take it to the location in Portland that they can equipped for Jess and his needs, so he can be be free to do what he needs.

Tell Jess that Rick can relate to his pain. Unfortunatly Rick has to sit on his. The Doctor told him he wouldn't have any so didn't give him any meds. I think the doc meant he, (the doc) wouldn't have pain. Rick isn't a big med taker either, but there are times you need it.
I reassured Rick that my hunny do list is not going anywhere. Maybe that is what caused the pain to start.
I got a call from Kara last night to get Jim and Sandi's phone # which I didn't have and hope that she got through to Peter for it. I guess they are in the Phoenix area for their time off for Spring Break. With the blog I seldom call anyone.
Kara didn't call here. She must have found the number elsewhere. Thank the Lord that Jess and Rick are healing up ok. I too hate taking pain meds, but they say you heal up faster if your not in pain. You nurses, keep up the good work.
Bonnie, at least you post on the blog. unlike one other of our sisters (:cough:GLENDA:cough:) who i love anyway, and i know she is busy.
Glad to hear Rick is doing good and that he has a legitimate reason to wait to work on his list. He needs to concentrate on healing up.
You know that when Jim and Sandi get back they will fill up the Blog with their adventures, after they get their Gonzo time. Come to think of it that may be a while.

Peter's correct, it's better to take the pain pills so your body isn't in so much stress from the pain. There are better ways to spend your time healing than squirming in pain.
We made connections with Kara and are planning to see her on Wednesday evening.
We rented a car, which was an experience in itself. I thought we were being shuttled to another airport, but it turned out to be a place where everyone and all their relatives rent rental cars. It was the size of an international airport without the airplanes. I was in such a state of awe, Sandi called me a "rube." I don't know what one is, but I hope it's a term of endearment. We drove to some place called 'Apache Junction' but they must have all been busy as we didn't see any. We also saw a place called Bagdad, but chose to drove on.

Jim,
it think it could be a good thing. it all depends on how you look at it. lets just say i dont want to be a source of contention among the two of you, so you have to look it up in merriam webster. i think it also refers to the word rustic.
