He is cute. Everytime I see his open mouth I look for teeth. Where's the teeth? They should be popping thru pretty soon. He looks like he is a pretty happy baby.

Love you guys. Illa

What a joy to have Gonzo in our lives. I envy you being able to see him and hold him. He is a very special little boy and comes from some really awesome parents and grandparents. He is a lucky little boy. I am praying that we will be able to make the reunion this year to see both Gonzo and Richardo.

Rick had to leave for work this morning about 4am. It was eally hard on him, he wants to be home so bad. He and Zack have really connected and have started doing music projects and research on last days together. They want to put together a Web site with the help of Rick other son Josh. I am so happy for Rick to finally be connecting with his sons in a way he has dreamt of since they were born. Pray he will soon be off the road. Time is so limited and he pretty much has to put everything they could be doing together on hold.

Anyone that already has grandchildren knows what we're feeling, so it's nothing new to them. It could for them just a slight reawakening of the initial impressions of that time. The entire experience of grandparenthood (is that a word?) has melted the smallest veins of my shriveled heart. I admit it, I am a fool even more willing to act foolish just to see Gonzo's lips curl slightly upward in a telling humor of what he is feeling. Yes, even just a little.

Wow! That recuperation period was just a little too short. Rick, come on now, couldn't you blame something on your ailing gizzard and get a few more days out of this experience?
