well im glad that you have your priorties in order. Kids come first and they should have encouragement and stability in their lives. with you guys there you can help to encourage them in the right direction. They need you guys. just let them know your there to help them not condem them or pass judgement.
(my spelling SUCKS tonight)
love ya

WISH WE COULD HAVE YOU HERE BUT BEN IS RIGHT, KIDS COME FIRST. WE HAVE LIVED BY THAT FOR A LONG TIME. IT IS GREAT TO HAVE SIBLINGS AND I THINK EVERYONE WOULD AGREE TO THAT BUT THE KIDS HAVE TO LEARN THE FAMILY THING FROM US, THE ADULTS. THAT THRU THICK AND THIN, YOUR FAMILY IS THERE. EVEN IF IT MEANS THAT WE HAVE TO PUT OUR WISHES, WANTS AND NEEDS TO THE SIDE FOR A WHILE. WE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT BY EXAMPLE WE LEAD. LOVE AND LIGHT TO YOU ALL. WE LOVE YOU. ILLA

You're both right on, I totally agree. The kids need to learn from our example. Illa's right, we've all sacrificed our wants, needs, and desires for our kids. Sacrifice is something that a person learns as they get older. Dang, I sound like my mom.

No doubt you've made the best choice. I have a friend who while in VietNam, though only in his early twenties, was considered 'the old man' in his recon unit. The reason he reached old age when so many of his unit were dying all around him; he said, 'was because, he never walked the easy path through the jungle'. Though there may have been a nearby path going the same direction, he never took it.

Since he told me these things, I've often thought how it applies to successful living in general. There must be exceptions, but I think it's almost always true; the hardest choice is usually the correct one.

I hope that whatever is going on with Zack will be resolved for him soon. I always thought that when the kids got older, things would be so much easier, but that just isn't true! The problems just get more complex.

It goes without saying that you'll be in my prayers. Hope to hear that all is well soon.
