This what our house looks like. We had horrific winds last night also. Sounded like a freight train coming thru. Power was out for about 3-4 hours. House stayed fairly warm. Illa
Yeh, I recognize those winds. Those were the winds we were standing out in on Saturday afternoon, though probably not as cold as when they arrived in your area.
Your pictures make it look nice there. A classic winter scene. I enlarged one of the pictures and I could swear that that's Peter's rig in the background!
FYI: We're thinking of going night skiing at Shasta on the 23rd. Consider joining us.
I read the words Illa uses and find out why I love her so much. The way she writes, the words she uses, "horrific", so...,her. I love the way she looks at the world. what a gal, no wonder I love her so.
Yeah, we all love her, I'm glad Ben isn't horrific anymore. But wait a minute, I hear when you quit smoking you can become moody and horrific for a while! Peter

The snow looks so pretty--but mother nature sure can be harsh at times. I'm glad you guys stayed warm through the power outage.
