if you have your install disk for your mac. there are some programs on there that you can run to see if have bad files and repair them also. there SHOULD be 2 disk that came with your computer. they should have gray labels on themif your running tiger for your os make sure they say tiger on them.

Lueria, I found 2 disks in my apple after Dick told me to look for them. I installed one(with his help) and it fixed what I THOUGHT had been a problem. I found out, even though I had asked the shop to install everything, they had NOT. I found several areas that worked once they had been installed !! bg
