More good news

Sandi felt like she just did 3,000,000 sit-ups, but really she had her hysterectomy surgery this afternoon. Everything turned out well, just like the doctor thought it would. No problems. She is in her room and she has a pain pump. Her pain level is 4-5 on a scale on 10. At this point she'll be released on Thursday afternoon. She'll be off the rest of the school year. She is to be laying down or walking around. Minimal sitting.
She appreciates your well wishes, but doesn't want any flowers because of our cats.

Hey !!! Just dawned on me, after you have your surgery will you be off work too ? Maybe you two could come over and visit !! If you bring your wood, I'll even split it for ya !!
Maybe you could buy my bike and I can get another one. Illa said I have to sell this one before I can buy a friends bike he wants to sell.

I am glad that all went well. Tell her to sleep with her feet propped up. She will find that she has been pumped full of liquids and it is not leaving fast enough. She'll swell up like a balloon. Propping up the feet will put the fluid back to the kidney area to be filtered out quicker. She will also be numb for a long time and feel funny (strange that is). She will understand. Make sure she had a tummy pillow. it is good for propping when laying down and to hold across tummy when trying to get up. It is easier to get up out of bed if she remembers how she had to do it when hugely pregnant. pretty much on the same line. a whole lot easier. Wait on her hand and foot. makes the first few days easier to bear. she is worth it you know. payback time now. she will feel a whole lot better now. REALLY. will take a few weeks but she will and man will she be surprised. almost like a whole new you. Take care and talk to you later. Love Illa
