SUPPER BOWL

Who is going to watch the game and who are you rooting for. GO STEELERS!!!!!
Bet I'll know before you.

Peter, you know I love it when you tease me. Don't ever worry about this sister taking offence. I just wish I was better giving it back. Jim, Ben and Dick make it easy but you being the ELDER brother, we do own you (a little) respect.

Just talked to Rick, he said 10 teams have been laid off and all of the solo drivers. Everyone is getting really nervous. It is usually slow this time of year but our company for the first time says things are not looking good for the future. Another 2 major truck companies are closing down. When it hits home it gets pretty hairy.

It is like spring time here today but we are suppose to get a snow storm by tomorrow. Right now it is beautiful.

Have you ever tried liking something but can't make yourself? Football is like trying to enjoy liver for Karen and I. Having two sons who know all the stats/rules backward and forward, I wish I could get into it. I even try from time to time, but they can see right through me. They'll be talking some real insider talk between themselves and I'll try to get in on the conversation, and say something stupid: "yeah, and did you see that guy push the other guy, that was a good sock". "Uh Dad, that's sack". Oh well. At least my boys and I share the love of cheesecake. (Who's playing this year?)

I think the flyers and the lakers. I'm glad that our family is really into footbrawl. It's just one if those things that brings us closer together.

You can tell how much I'm into it too. I called it Supper not Super Bowl. I do watch it off and on but that is the only sports thing I ever watch. I just like to pretend I know something about nothing. So how about those figure skaters? OK, forget it. How's Gonzo?

This is the first game I'm watching this season, but I'm going for Arizona. West coast team. The best part are the snacks that Sandi makes.

My claim to football fame is that I was "Mr. Football" in 8th grade. Do you have the 3D glasses for the 2nd quarter commercial? They're free at Rite-Aid.

I am watching the game. I am rooting for the Arizona Cardinals. It has been pretty good so far. This is the first Super Bowl that I have watched.

Hey Ya All, I WON!!!!!!!!
The reason I went with the Steelers is that Mr Prez is a Cardinal Fan.
Just leave it to us hillbillies to guess it right. Have to admit is was a close game.

LOL, Aunt Bonnie, looks like we found out who won about the same time. A friend of mine stopped over while he was walking after the game to see how the kids and I were doing and to tell me who won.

I thought because we are on the Right coast, second thought, (the wrong coast), that we had a 3 hr advantage. Did I say I was smart? Of course the Super Bowl would be played at the same time for everyone. That would be like announcing who our new prez was to the east coast first just because we are 3 hrs ahead. Dumb dumb me. I do have my bright moments.

Teresa, I'm going to send you Ricks newest CD. It is so good to hear from you on the blog. I love you and Uncle Rick sends his love.

I'd love that! Give him a big hug for me when you can (hugs to everyone else too of course).

Yeh, Bonnie, we have TV here too. I understand that you may have indeed seen who the winner was before us on the West Coast. Since Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" the FCC has implemented a short delay to the actual event.
