Family History
I think I told you about a 'Rouzaud' emailing us, saying our home town is in The Pyrenees Mt. of France. I knew my great grandfather's name was Geronimo, and I ran across this image online. Turns out the fellow who posted it it is a distant cousin. He told me he has 2500 entries in his family tree. He's going to send me a copy. This genealogy stuff is fun, but I think it's going to be a lot of work.

Peter, very cool. Genealogy is definitely something that either completely captivates or does nothing for you. I am one of those people completely captivated by it...how can you not be with our interesting family background!
Randy; what software do you use for your tree?
Yeh, but think of all the time that you're going to save by not playing with your Photoshop program.
Jim
I use MacFamilyTree. Realistically I think Ancestry.com does a perfectly fine job of hosting your tree and has unparalleled data available for research but if you want to take your research to the next level (kinship/ reports, 3D views of your tree, etc.) a desktop application is better.
Uncle not playing with photoshop is akin to the sky falling...
Very interesting.
Peter, this is so interesting. I think Glenna was the one who told me the Rouzauds were French Basque, so it was a thrill to find that it was true! Since she probably did not get close to Ernie's family, I have always wondered how much info she was able to learn about the Rouzauds. I will be interested when you get more info.
Hey, Randy, I haven't forgotten about your request for my kids info on birthdates, etc. I will get on that by the end of the week.
