Who are you voting for..........

I like Ron Paul, but I don't think he will will. So it will be down to Obamah ,Hillary, or McCain.
McCain is not getting it. And since I'm Republican the last few years. I'm still excited for  a change. Well Justin says he is voting Obamah. Sorry if I have misspelling. I laugh at Hillary mixing up she was in fire. lol. I live in North Portland and never been in fire. I think I would remember that. So I guess Obamah is the man. Can anyone give me their thoughts to see another side. love hearing families views. love you. hugs

i like the statement McCain gave today. "its NOT the federal governments responsibility to pull people out of debt. Its up to the individual who got themselves there in the first place." I think he could surprise us all .
He is also being endorsed by Nancy Regan.

Hillary is a lier and some other things i wont say here. plus she probobly had something to do with a murder that some people seem to have forgotten about. shes 2 faced and ...............................
Obama is a Raciest and i wouldn't trust him as far as i could throw him,
what do you expect from demos though.

oh and Hillary never said she was in fire. She said she was under sniper fire in Bosnia though.

just my thoughts, you stand by the people and also what they say, or at least say you don't agree with a comment they say. Obama has a bad profile with me, he does not say what his preacher says is rubbish. I think there are times you must speak up and disagree. I am a republican but not crazy about some of McCains ideas, but I look and try for the best of the worse this election. The one I hoped for pulled out.

I've been a Republican too, up to this point, but I can't agree with status quo in Iraq, whether it be 50 years or 100 years. I was going to vote for Huckabee, but he pulled out. My biggest draw to him was his idea on a flat tax. Sorry, I think that the IRS is just a little too big. Early on, my approach was, how the candidates stood on the issues that I cared about. Obamah came out on top for me. There is no perfect candidate for me, but he is the closest. No, I don't believe a rapid pull-out of Iraq is a good idea, nor does he have the perfect solution for health care, but I like his approach to problems and his answers to situations. I'll vote for him before Hillary.

never forget, we will have to fight at times, I rather it be"over there" than here. as long as we have the radicals wanting to do like the 9-11 we will always have to defend. a life lost is bad, but nothing compared to Nam and the lives lost there as far as the body count. It is Not like they didn't boast they had the weapons of mass destructions, and don't forget the satellite pictures of the military vehicles in convoy driving out of the areas just prior to the first bombing.
even during when I was in the nationl guard after the active service, they talked about, why use dirty bombs when chemicals will clear the area and you don't have to rebuild for occupation. I always thought that was a good point.
No war is good, but I put my hippie glasses away years ago !!
all we have done is like the "instant gratification" thing, it takes time.

I was a Republican until the Iraq war , and changed to Independent. So I can't vote in the primary. I can't tolerate any party. Personally, I don't think Hillary lied about Bosnia, she's just getting senile. It's likely she'll forget all her campaign promises too. That's one mark for a younger Candidate. I'll vote for McCain, even if he is old. I have a real problem with anyone who thinks that killing a baby is the lessor of evils, and is a means to resolve any problem. Therefore McCain is the only candidate. I might disagree with some of his policy issues, but he is well respected by everyone. That says a lot for a politician.

who said killing a baby is the lesser of two evils ?

Actually, I think that you all fit under the definition of "libertarians"...especially Jim! That's libertarian, not librarian, ok?

I know it sounds "cool" to be so independent, but doesn't it really mean you just don't get to play?

Remember that Kris Kristofferson line: "freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose." Independent is just another word for a person who has no one to party with.

As to who is lying and who is not, surely you boys aren't so naive as to think that they all don't have to exert the full measure of diplomacy to reach the upper echelons of political attainment, do you??? Seriously. And Hillary had a lot of stuff going on in 1996 besides the people of Bosnia sniping at her!

There is a case for playing the primary's. There are other things to consider too (besides the coolness). I wouldn't expect everyone to switch to independent, your party affiliation should reflect your genuine political disposition. Besides the inability to endorse either side's party machine, I have personal reasons as well. I can't identify myself with a political, or even a church ideology that alienates a significant group of people I propose to reach out to: IE Homosexuals. To say that homosexuality is a sin is one thing to attempt to legislate their personal behavior is another. As I see the far right becoming more and more aligning itself to Republicanism, it is forcing people like me away. All that said, excepting Joe Camel, there is nothing wrong with being cool Sandi.

A good point. Just another word. My thinking is the "parties" is way outdated. It really is who do you think would be the best ? I went republican, the same reason as I did to be a cop, one less pig in uniform if I was there, one more flexible republican vote to vote AGAINST the hard line thinking.
The world of Camelot died when JFK was killed, yet, even he had bad points.
In truth, just no GREAT choices this election.

Gentlemen, at last, I concur! Historic does not equal greatness. Alas and forsooth, we are again reduced to deducing the lesser of several evils...

HEY!!! I think I will call this a "RED LETTER DAY" !! Even with all the hard times I give Sandi, yet her heart is good enough to actually type she "agrees" I hope Jim can save this to remind her years later. This might be the only evidence we shall ever see !!
