very nice jim. it sounds like a good time had by all. to bad you didnt get to kill anything. Im sure Mr. Bear was just checking that you put out your fire. hes probobly tired of them. Its such a nice area up there. Id like to spend time up there some time.
so ---- to go along with your story. im walking along the riverbank of the wilson river this morning. and i come to a wet sandy area about 4 feet long and 1 for wide. and what do i see. 3 paw prints about 4 inches across to small to be bear. coming out of the river. at first i thought "oh dog". as i looked closer they didnt resemble any dog print that i have ever seen. then i thought "big foot" but they were the wrong shape. Mind you it did rain this morning early. and these prints looked fresh. needless to say i was very aware of my surrounding for the next hour or so. not sure what they were.
So, you should have had your digital camera along and taken a picture. It's pretty neat to be able to be outside enjoying nature. When we went hunting last week it was so quiet and silent, the only thing I could hear was the sound of the hair on the back of my head sratching across the collar of my jacket. No wind, no sounds, just the sounds of silence. Jim
i had my camera and thought about taking a picture, but i didnt. now that i think of it the tracks were actually about 2-maybe 3 inches across. from now on i will take a pic of everything. Oh and i did catch a verry nice trout. at least i think it was a trout. now that i tried to take a pic of, but its difficult when you by yourself and you want to keep it alive.
Isn't weird how things happen? Two weeks ago when I was home the first night the TV in the living room came on by itself. There is a sequence that has to be done to get it on. It was at 2:42 in the morning. It was really strange and it was loud like Ben like to hear. At least it sounded loud being woke from a deep sleep. I asked Ben when I talked to him next and he said that he had woken up about that time.
Well, I had better go as it is time to leave for work. I open the store. Talk to you all later.
