I called Chuck this evening. He said that he had just signed up for medical benefits through the Veterans Administration. I'm not sure how it all came about, but they gave him a card that gives him the ability to get his prescriptions paid for by the VA. He sounded pretty good and upbeat.
I gave him something to do to fill up some of his free time. I asked him to see what he could find about infrared heaters and how feasible they are. Since he lives in Sacramento I thought that there may be a store that sells them around him.

Thanks Jim; it's good to hear that he is making progress. Let us know what you find out about the infrared heaters. I watched a whole infomercial about them and they never mentioned the price once!
