Just talked to Joe and Lynn. They are moving their family to Virginia to be close to her son and his wife there. Chris works for the Government there, something about Arlington. He and his wife are expecting twins early anywhere between middle of June to sometime in July. They will be doing a C- Section. They are excited. Heather is also 4-5 months pregnant. So they will be leaving sometime after the 29th of May. Tomorrow is Joe's last day at Pelican Bay. So they won't be around for the Re-union first week of Sept. I really wish them well.
Just thought that you all would like to know. They will be stopping by here for the night on their way. It will be good to see them again. I think this will be good for them.
Love to all Illa

What part of Virginia? We are only 20 miles from the Virginia border.
Rick says hi to everyone. I miss him so much. He is just getting over a flu bug, not a good thing to have when you have to drive.
Bummer. I'll miss them. I was really looking forward to seeing them at the reunion.
I am not sure which part but I think somewhere by DC.
Hope Rick gets better. This flu stuff sucks. At least I haven't gotten it yet. Knock on wood. How are things going? Still waiting for Teresa's apt. Most of the furniture is loaded on the flat trailer, and tarpped. It hasn't rained because of that I think. If it was open it would rain buckets.
Well, almost time to go to bed. You all have a good weekend.
Love Illa
Wow, I'm shocked and surprised. I hope that this is a great thing for them all. Seems nuts to live in the same town and never see each other...Well, I hardly ever see Jim either, and we live in the same house!
Joe, if you see this, all the best to you and Lynn, Heather and all the family.
Thanks for the head's up, Illa.
Illa,
I don't even know Joe except he his family and moving closer to us. Maybe he will get you to visit out here.
Ah nuts... that means I miss out on my favorite past time... vegging out with relatives. Give them all big hugs for me since I'm over here with the kids. Expecting a week-ish before heading back for a bit while waiting, but tomorrow is Orientation/Paperwork Day down at Blagg's, so Adam may or may not get called out on a fire soon, depending when the company gets a contract... which would mean I get the kids all to me wherever I'm roosting. Will have plenty of help whether holding down the fort in Weed or breaking in the apartment whenever they tell me I can haul my stuff in there.
Little Joe is Ben's brother's, Joe Ross's son. He has been working Pelican Bay for about 10 years. His mother lives in Crescent City also. She will be staying there until they get settled then move over there. She has a live in caretaker, significant other, and I don't know if he will move or not.
Teresa, let me know if they call you then I can bring the trailer over and we can get you in and then get the rest of the stuff. I think it will take two loads anyway. Give the kids a big kiss and hugs from me. School is almost out, YEAH!!
Time to get ready for work. POOH!!!
Love you all. Illa
Illa; I love your notes. Now I know where Teresa gets her writing prowess. But you really shouldn't cuss ("POOH"). I've been trying to break myself of the habit too ("doggoneit")
BnR, your gonna love Joe and family. If Lili ends up moving to Tenn, we're going to have to consider a family reunion on the left coast!
That's a big move! I wish them all the best in this new adventure.
Jim
Dad nab it all and tarnation, Peter! If you clean up your potty mouth, I guess I'm guna have to too!
Now if we can just get Kid Brother to sign on to the plan, this will be a "clean sweep".
I'm thinking we'll have to resort to an intervention. I once heard him say "s*oot", so he's pretty hard core.
*snickers* Y'all are so funny.
May be a while before that apartment happens. Having to make some calls. Monday I'll hopefully have some callbacks, more than a bit distressed.
