It was a good trip. Hey, and I finished the doll house! We got back to cold and rainy weather, you know the kind that chills to the bone. We already miss our kids. Looks like Ben and Illa are going to have a good amount of snow soon. PnK

NO SNOW YET. JUST A LOT OF RAIN AND WIND. TAKING SOME OF THE BROKEN BRANCHES OUT OF THE TREES. ONE JUST MISSED THE CARS. LOTS OF POTENTIAL THO. DON'T HAVE THE RAIN GAUGE OUT SO DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH RAIN WE HAVE HAD IN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS. THE RAIN MELTED MOST OF THE SNOW THAT WE HAD LEFT. WE NEEDED THE WATER BUT NOT THE WIND. OH, WELL. SOMETIMES YOU CANT HAVE ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER.
GLAD YOU ARE BACK AND HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT TIME. WE GET OUR CHRISTMAS THIS WEEKEND. THE KIDS ARE ALL SUPPOSED TO BE DOWN, THE WEATHER WILLING. MISS YOU ALL. HAPPY NEW YEAR. BEN AND ILLA
How quick things change !! Just got back from the back doctor after Illa posted. WE GOT SNOW !!! lol Not a lot yet but when it came it dumped ! The mountain was slick over the pass and on the other side it was like in another world. Not a hint of snow. Then home again. The contractor that put the chimney in the ceiling did a lousy job. The top of the chimney is on the roof?! Seems every time we do a hired licensed job, I get to fix it ! If I understand right he put a "flex pipe" on the top. It flexed with the wind ?! Go figure. No leaks so we turned the pellet stove off for now. Will climb the roof after the snows and encase a hard line around it if all goes with my thoughts.
Heard Redding is out of power for 20,000 homes. B.J. called and said the whole stretch along the freeway is out of power up to Oregon and east to the ocean by the reports they got.
Not sure if we will have the dinner this weekend or not now. Mountain living,GOT to love it !! Actually, it is very pretty outside with all the snow. Helps to have backup heat too !!
We have a lot of wind around here too. No snow however, supposed to be just rain. Did I tell you 'I hate snow'? Actually just the kind around here, the wet slushy kind. At our house it stays for ever.
Glad to hear there are no leaks at your house! Might as well live out doors if it leaks - well kinda.
I forcasts of 9ft in the mountains from these storms, hope you don't get quite that amount. Peter
was thinking maybe move into the doll house!! Very cool looking, but then 9' of snow and it would cover it.

Hey, how's it going there? Getting more snow? I think it must REALLY be dumping where Dick was in Susanville! Isn't that kinda close to where you guys are at?
yes, that is the area but not that much snow there either. it is in the mountains higher up. even the kids din't get that much up by mt. shasta. mostly just high winds. snows but it is the small flakes that will take a lot to mearure up to anything. oh, well. snow is snow. it will all help. ben and illa
Hi everyone, I finally got a new computer and got caught up on the blog. I about went crazy noy being able to keep in touch with everyone. I must have forgotten the what name to sign in to post because nothing is working, I do remember the password.
I'm glad everyone had a good Christmas. I enjoyed having my honey home. We had a big meal here on the 30th. That doll house is adorable Peter.
Dick, go ahead and use my old email name if you want. I just thought I needed something a bit more appropriate. Just remember I love ya all, and please don't anyone think they have to walk on eggs with me. Everyone need to feel they can voice their own opinions. right or wrong as long as in the end you all agree with me. Ya right. Hey you can always agree to disagree.
Glad that everything is working. You're right about that eggshell thing. I broke all of mine already! So, say whatever you want.
Re: your old email address. I guess I don't know the history of it, so if Dick carries the legacy of whatever it was on, good, I think.

WOW !! You are RIGHT, for once ! lol GREAT house, and my chair is on the porch. Peter, come over and build us a full sized one like that and I will let you come over and visit once in awhile.
