??? "buggy virus". is that a real thing, or just a high polluten thing ?! Remember Jim, ain't all of us as smart about the computers as you, Peter and Dick !! and maybe I am the only learner here . Oh, snow again last night and tonight here !! Seems Big Valley runs it's own weather pattern ! lol
Well, when bug and virus are used like that I'm not really. But to me, if I can't make it work right, it's buggy. Anything wrong with a computer it could be attributed to a virus. Bottom line, I couldn't get the damn thing to stop either, I had to restart by computer too. Jim
Gotta be careful about being "hijacked". You can get some nasty Spyware from some sites. Be real wary of those that wont let you go. Better run your Spyware scan just to be careful. Mac probably doesn't have to worry about it. Very few spyware/viruses written for mac at his time. Their time is coming though, now that they are getting more market share (sorry BnInD)Peter
I keep telling Jim that if people on your blog keep posting as "other" he should not open or respond to the posts. It would be easy, very easy, for someone to melt down all of your computers with this kind of a post.
Kind of like putting your address, phone numbers, last name etc. Even though you all consider yourselves to be so tough and worldly, I bet you'd be surprised at how much info people can get about you online--stuff like financial records, credit card numbers, medical records, etc.
Now at the expense of sounding like HWMNBN, be careful out there you guys.
