Just want to ask you to send a little prayer of protection Ricks way. He is driving through all that ice and snow on his way to Chicago. North of OK City they say alot of cars and truck on their sides and tops. They had to pull over for about 4 hrs last night because it got so bad. I wish I was with him. As much as we hate driving in that weather, I'd rather be together then wonder what he is going through.

Hope all is well with the rest of you. I'm keeping busy with some sewing projects. Right now our daughter in law is in remission and doing better. Amy and her husband are planning on moving back to Oregon by March.

Love Ya All

Dear Bonnie, I sure will, we had snow at St. Helens. Jess parked the car and came into the RV, we look out and it had sled down the driveway, greatful it did not go into the street.

We parked the car to the lower part, and walked down to it so we did not have a repeat. Also set the emergency brack. We look to the time we can have you close to us and work with stained glass.

Bonnie, I think of him all the time as I listen to the weather station. I will keep him in prayer these next couple of days.

Hey, where is Amy moving back from?

Bonnie,
Same here. Every time I see a car or truck in trouble on a news story I always hope it's not a relative or someone I know. I know that truck drivers have a record of being very safe drivers, but it sure makes news when something bad happens.

Daughter-in-laws in remission are good daughter-in-laws. I hope she continues to improve.

So, if Amy and husband are moving back to Oregon, does that mean that you and Rick may be moving back out to the left coast?

Bonnie, I keep you all in my prayers always. I too watch and pray that it is not someone we know. We have family back there also but in Tenn. and Georgia, Colorado. My sister in Tenn. is wanting to move back to Minot, ND. That will still leave a brother in Tenn and one in Atlanta, GA. Delbert and Mary live in Sparta. 109 Corolla Rd. Funny how I can remember that now when last year I couldn't.

I hope he calls you often to let you know things are alright. I am sure it is hard on him to hear you and not be there. Ben had that problem.

I pray to all the forces of the universe that all will be well according to the Father's Will. This strange weather can't last much longer.

Just remember that we all Love you. Take care sister. Don't stress too much. I know, easy to say but hard to do.

I keep you all in my prayers and ask that the dear Lord will be with you out on the highways and byways. Isn't it a wonderful comfort to KNOW that there is a God of love who controls the ultimate outcome of every situation? "Great peace have they which love Thy law, and nothing shall offend them."

And one of my personal favs:

Romans 8:28

Good scripture Sandi, so true. Bonnie we'll keep praying. Prayer is an amazing thing. If we think about it too long, it'll blow our mind. Like Illa said, the God of the universe hears us, but more, he really love us.

Illa, I didn't know you had family back here. We have accually delivered in Sparta.
Amy is moving from NY. I just got a email from her and bugged her about making me a grandma. Jim and Sandi, you gave me Grandma fever. Her husband is trying to talk her into having a baby. She's 35 so if she is going to I hope she doesn't wait to long. And yes Jim we are still thinking of moving back to the Left Coast. I'ts in Gods hands.
Thanks for all your prayers. Rick calls twice a day. I havent heard from him today and I am going to call him if I don't get his call pretty soon.
It is so great being able to communicate with all of you on this blog.

Glenda, what is the latest on Julie? And Dick, how are you doing?
Suzy, I know you are busy but I miss hearing from you, and I don't mean through the blog. STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM ME!

Will pray for him, and will ask my neighbor and her family to pray too. Was having a bad day today and was listing to some of Rick's songs actually... His singing always makes me feel better when I put it on.

Bonnie, thanks for asking about Julee. I am planning to go down to see her the weekend of February 14 & 15. I am so excited that she sounds good and is safe. I still haven't been able to connect with her social worker so I am unsure of when she might be able to get out. Then I have to worry about her going back into a dangerous lifestyle. She was doing so well when she was on her medications, but she gets connected with these guys that are into the drug scene and she just blows her mind away.

Hey, I know what you mean about the grandma bug. After all those sweet Gonzo pictures I really got onto Teisha. I need a new baby in the family!!

Come on, Dick. Your family is thinking of you.
