More Gonzo pictures

We stopped by after work today and got our "Gonzo" fix. It's funny, Rachael and Andrew happened to stop by too. Hmmmm........maybe this will give them some ideas.
We can only hope!
These are pics I took with my cell phone.

P.S. If you yearn to see more pictures click on the title above.

I'm thinking the 2nd and 3rd gens must think the 1st gens are a bunch of nuts. All of us are truly excited about this baby! When the mother of a very large family was asked, "don't you think you have too many kids!?" The lady simply answered, "that's like saying the world has too many flowers".

The older I get the more I love babies (and kids). I like to think it's because we are becoming 'normal'. Remember, A.W. Tozer said, humans are average- God is the only entity that man is related to who is actually 'normal'.

Most of us 1st gens wish we could have more babies. But then, we wish we could party all night and go to work the next day too. That's life. Oh well, we'll have to be content to baby sit.

I envy you Jim and Sandi, my rotten kids quit having them!

I agree. Everytime I see a little one it makes me want another. Then I come to my senses. When I want to have a little one, I'll just babysit. There is no other feeling like gazing on something so small and prescious and perfect.

Do they need anything or are the covered for now and just need stuff for when he is older? like 1-2 + stuff as they grow so fast or did you guys save a bunch of your kids stuff as you couldn't part with it.

I had saved some of Teresa's pretty dresses for when she had a girl but lost them in the house before Athena was even old enough to wear them. I have a bunch of the grand kids clothes and I know that Teresa still has a bunch. We could get them all together and the kids would have plenty of play stuff at least. Stuff that they would not be afraid to try to wear out anyway.

I am so envious.

Love to all. Illa

Now that is one cute kid, but then look at his parents and grandparents. You can feel the love that is there with all of you. Enjoy every moment.

Illa, you were asking what I had. Wes and I adopted our daughter Amy from South America after trying for years to have a baby. She is 35 now and married. I always wanted more but her dad said, "why should we risk another one when we had one child that never gave us any problems." Her and I were extremely close for years until religion came between us. She is married and lives in NY.

Well, I am so happy to finally be part of this club that you first gens have been guarding the gate to.

I have to tell on your baby brother--he's absolutely gone over Gonzo. It's a beautiful thing to see this tough, manly, crusty old codger blubbering over his grandson like a little baby himself.

I wish you could all be here with him now. And I will keep wishing it. Thank you all for sharing in our joy.

much love to all.

Dick, I think that blubberness may run in the family. You're a softee too. Just wait til you see him, your knees are going to shake and your eyes are going to water. Peter, I never thought I'd really like kids until Randy and Andrew came along. Now this, this is awesome! I never put two and two together about grandkids, but I think it amount to more than four. I may be getting soft in the head, but if this is part of getting older, "lemmee at it." Illa, already I'm seeing that being a grandparent is the best of all worlds. Everyone I talk to raves about it. I've always chalked that up to the fact that they're really old. If this is what it is I wish I could retire tomorrow! Bonnie, ever time I see that kid I feel like I'm walking on clouds. The first day back at school was a blur. I was oblivious to what happened that day at school. "You want to tear the paint off the walls? You go right ahead, don't let me bother you."
BTW, I don't know anything about what Sandi was referring to, or about any old codger.
