Beautiful and Peaceful Day

Friday was an incredibly beautiful day at the coast while visiting with Ben and family. Lili, Lisi and Jess brought up a walker. Ben and Dick took off with it for a walk to the docks, I came later, drove and I figure Ben had walked about a 1/4 mile! Then we hopped in the pickup and checked out some of the other views. It was really a wonderful day, I wish everyone could have been there to enjoy it.

Jim called last night about 7 pm. His eye surgery went fine, and he should be coming home around dark. Claudia is with him, so I know that there is at least ONE person who can see the road, though Jim swears he can see better already.

He didn't take his laptop, so he hasn't been able to post for a few hours, but I read him every word on here when he called me. He was very quiet and very absorbed in every detail. I could tell he loved hearing what happened next with the visit.

Seeing you all really makes him happy. He craves to be with you all the time.

Sandy, you don't know how much I miss you all, my brother's and sister's. I have loved the times we are together, and as we get older. I do feel we need each other more, going as with age and all, we can support our personal wishes as we know what life can be, from the past. We have this time to do so,.... I look forwards to getting together with Jim on some of my personal area's. The first day was hard on Lisi, but the next she was able to sleep a full night and her lungs did better. She did one more year here, and wants to go forward to her work, so we are looking for a location that we can form roots, and the special issues life will bring. I have heard that Oregon, is doing better on these issues, and I would like to find land, that is connected to Oregon and California, (Jess and Lisi laughed about putting a line down the middle)!!!! Dreams are great, and I know that they do come true, to many in my have to not doubt this.

Actually, Peter, we try to keep this information on a "need to know basis." Please do not spread this around. Every day is like this in CC, but there is a perception that it rains here a lot. Well, yes, it does rain here a lot. We have 57.3" of rain since Jan. 1, but we tend to disregard minor inconviences like rain when we have days like the last few days. Besides, the powers that be knew that Ben and family were coming and we had a little bit of everything. So, shhhhhhhhhhhh...., we're trying to NOT get the word out.
