Hello family! I thought that I'd take the time to let you know that I'm only a few chapters away from finishing my current manuscript, then I can go through it for final editing before release, which has been pushed back to hopefully early 2009.

My good friend, Victoria Davis, has kindly done the cover for me so that I can concentrate more on the writing, editing, and the family stuff going on right now. I thought that you might like to see it (and yes, this and the rest of the novel series will come out under my maiden name).

You have too much talent! I wish you could lend me some, but I guess it doesn't work that way.

It is so cool that Teresa has been able to work on her book while here. Ben and I knew that she needed a rest from everything but didn't realize that it would help with her writing block. This is cool. She was able to even write while on the trip to the coast which was really busy. I keep trying to get here to do the book fair thing that Sandi told her about. I am sure if she could do somethings like that it would get her books moving. If other people cn get their book noticed she should be able to also.

What I need to do is have a bigger inventory of books on hand with me when doing to fairs and things. I've been wanting to do the different fairs (and book fairs) since the first book, but had to channel funds to other more immediate things.

I'm hoping that this coming year I can have enough inventory and funds to do book fairs, book expos (Dragon Con I hear would be a great venue too).

Anyway, to get book titles as they come available and story concept art, visit http://stores.lulu.com/rainstardragon.

Another friend of mine had helped me with an entry site, but that other url has encountered some difficulties we're working on resolving too, so for now orders are direct through the printer. I'm glad I've got friends that are in the small press business that can give me advice too.

Very cool, Teresa! Congratulations, I can't wait to read it.

The cover looks great, though I know that we're not supposed to judge books by their covers... *wink*
