OK, I hate to be the dumb one, but who is Little Joe??? And who is the blond and the guy on the sofa???
I feel so sad not to be able to be there with you guys, one reason Rick and I want to move back West, but I am so thankful for this time for you to get out and do some things that bring you so much joy. You and Illa deserve this and more. I wish I could be there to hug all of you and tell each of you how much I treasure my brothers and sisters and theiir spouses. We are so blessed and even though distance and time keep us apart, for me you are only a heartbeat away.
One day soon when sickness and death will be done away, we will have eternity to spend together. God Bless each and everyone of you.

Bonnie,
Yes, we all wish you and Rick could be here. We wish all family members could be here. It was a good visit and Ben had a little bit of all types of weather; rain, fog, and today, a nice sunny day.

FYI. Little Joe is Ben's nephew. When Ben grew up with the Ross' and he had a (adopted?) brother named Joe. Joe has since passed away and "Little Joe" always saw Ben as "Uncle Ben." The blond beside Joe is his wife. Her daughter was also over last night.
It was a good visit. Hopefully, it wasn't too hard on Ben.

sitting here with ben. He's doing pretty good this morning. Sitting out infront of the trailer, sipping some water, absorbing the sun.
We are going to take ben in his wheel chair and walk him around the docks to look at the boats that are getting ready to go crabing. He's kind of excited to do it.
We will refrain from pushing him In and seeing if he floats.

so great seeing him have time with his brothers.. It is so wonderful seeing all you brothers supporting our brother. Lisi and I would have loved to spend more time with you, Ben. Also that you are being supporive of your wishes. As brothers this is a special time as brother's and men time. Thank you Dick, as I know if it was jess I would wish the men in my family be their for him.... I's a guy thing. I would love my sister's, with me, if it as me, and I know Lisi would want this for herself.... To support her wishes. Sister's, are so special and she's want you to be their for her daughter. She loves her so much. She does wish to have that mother and daughter connection. We do know how deeply loves her as I do, and I love her dearly... As sister's, you know how dear she is to us... Also, this goes for the sister-in-law's. Lueria has such a deep love for us, it hurts. I know as sister's, her heart, as as twins, we have this deep love and understanding. Thanks brother's, being there for our little brother....

It is so great to see these pics. How great that Ben got to see his ocean. Teresa looks beautiful, motherhood fits her well! Illa, I love your hair gray...it looks very good on you. Hey Dick did you catch some fish? Looks like that cute black cat is waiting for some! Sandy and Jim how wonderful that you have shared your home. It looks like a good time has been had by all. Peter and Dick, hope you guys have a good trip back home. Jess and sisters, I'm so glad you were able to make it down. Love you all very much.

We loved seeing everyone, and miss you already. Hope that the rest of the trip is good for you and that you will remember the way here and the time you spent here with happiness.

Those who couldn't come, I am sorry that you didn't get to be here. There was a lot of love in this little house. You were missed.

Bonnie, I wish you could have been there too. Ben missed you. Ben enjoyed seeing everyone out and away from the hospital setting. He just wished he could have had more "Guy Time". which I thought was really cool. Usually he doesn't like me too far away but I was glad that he got to spend as much time with the guys as he could. It was a awesome trip all around. Next goal is Turkey Day. We just take it a day at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. It to shall pass.

Love from all of us, Ben, Illa, Teresa and BJ.
